I loved everything about the first 10 or so episodes: the first meetings between Bo Jin Yan and Yao Yao, the mansion scenes and the first cases those two (those four, to be exact) worked on. I also loved how the scenes were shot. There was darkness, close - ups and mystery in all the right places. That got me invested into the story. However, let me just say that the story got progressively creepier and I had a hard time binge watching the last couple of episodes because of that. I have a very vivid imagination and even if the torture scenes were not always explicit, my memory overcompensated for them. The last 8 episodes were too much: the crimes were too perfect, the pace was too fast for me and the tricks were just too well thought out.
I was also not a huge fan of the romance in this drama. It progressed too quickly and it wasn't all that great. It did move the story forward, but it didn't make my heart race. I liked the initial attraction between the main leads, but I didn't think they fit together as a couple.
Wallace Huo really is an incredible actor. He does a good job in the first half of the show, but a remarkable job during the couple of last episodes. There are scenes acted out by him that blew me away. I liked his scenes with Sandra Ma, but I can't say I loved her equally much in this. As usual with East Asian dramas, a lot of the non- Chinese actors were so so. I do think that LMiYD had better English speaking actors than most of the shows out there, but many of them were not even half as good as the Chinese protagonists. That ruined some scenes for me. It was difficult for me to rate the cast because of that.
Overall though Love Me if You Dare is really a great show and I recommend that you watch it and see for yourself.

He had his cute moments and his serious moments. I like how he protected her and how he flirted with her, even though he has always been pretty isolated.
The rest of story, I don't know, I feel like that female lead, she was kind of boring, and looked always lost. The story line was good but some of the acting seemed a bit fake. There is a second series to this drama so I will give it a shot. Hopefully it will be better.

The story fascinated me from the start, I loved the mystery and the danger that comes from Bo Jin Yan, but also the innocence and persistence of Jian Yao. The relationship between them developed so nicely and it was very lovely to watch.
The supporting roles were just as important as the main ones as they build a frame for the main couple. All in all the Cast was superb!
I probably wouldn't rewatch it right away because the end kind of stuck to me a bit and gives me the chills. I was a bit sad that the love-story of Bo Jin Yan and Jian Yao was pushed to the back during the series and many people who've read the novel were disappointed due to this fact. It really feels a bit that the action and the main bad guy were SOOO important that they had to let that slide a bit.
Overall it's a really great drama to watch and it doesn't let you go until you've finished it. Get ready for some addiction here ;)

All the cast is god of acting
Watch this only because I have watch Sandra Ma in "Oh My General", Wang Kai in "Nirvana in fire", and the handsome cool face of wallace huo..This is my 1st movie with wallace huo, but i'm gonna watch most of his movie after i finish this...
He was so handsome yet so cool....
To be honest, i'm not a fans of detective / horor movie... But I push my self to watch this due to this 3 actor. And it seems that love story in this movie was so real, sweet like a rela love.
The only one I dislike is the music / song.. Even when it is in the romantic scene, the song is stil sorrow...

Turned off with lack of romance and how the Fl just jumped into bed with the guy
I kind of liked it at the start but it all went downhill by episode 10. I found myself laughing when the smart Jin Yan was making so many awkward attempts to win over Jian Yao's heart. But when Jin Yan invited Jian Yo for dinner and it was implied that they had sex, it was over for me.I hate it when the female lead allows the male lead to have his way. I mean girl, don't be so easy! I wanted her to play more hard to get and make him jealous. Make him really want her to the point that he is kidnapping her and forcing her to marry him. I read the comments here and they were saying that there were so many romantic scenes. Did we watch the same show? There was so little of it that I had to skip the murder investigation parts because I found those boring and I just wanted the romantic scenes which were very few and far between.
So no, not going to finish this drama. I don't like it when the FL just has sex with the ML as if it was nothing.

I am now halfway through this drama...and I woke up early so that I could catch a few more episodes before work. I am engrossed and I can't get enough. The last time I saw a drama this well that I liked this well was Medical Examiner Dr. Qin. Both dramas are similar in personality and style. Both series features a 'trio' that not only serve as carrying the story forward but also provide the perfect comedic relief when needed. What draws me to this series in general, are the characters and the actors who portray them. The characters are realistic and I adore them and I love watching them grow on screen. The actors who portray them do a great job with body language and facial expression. Honestly this is superbly done.
I want to go on and on about the plot points and various 'cases' that have been portrayed but don't want to cause spoilers; my advice, don't watch some of them late at night in a dark house. I don't spook easy but I did this round. Also, I pride myself in guessing the ending to cases and such...I've been wrong each time. To me this is a good thing.
Overall a fantastic drama and I wish it had more episodes than just the 24.

Not for me
I came to watch this expecting something mind-blowing based on the excellent reviews, but i was put off from the very beginning... Something about cinematography is weird, cheap-looking, maybe the filming technique or video quality or the fashion style - better say, lack of it. The actors didnt look appealing to me, very plain faces and even plainer skills. Even the plot didnt seem to add up.Dropped at episode 2, after skipping to get there, and dont intend to pick it up any time soon.
