Highly Recommended!
The Gifted (2018) is one of the best Thai dramas I’ve ever watched. The storyline is captivating and the character development is complete. I look forward to this sequel and to see how (1) the powers of Pang are further developed, (2) how the entire Gifted Class works together to bring down —SPOILER ALERT!!!— Director Supat.The only downside of this drama is the uneven acting skills of the cast. They have to find students as the cast so the actors/actresses might be pretty new.

DISAPPOINTED
Super bothered at the rating so I gave it a try. I was curious about everything.Since they have the unusual abilities unlike normal students, they're being treated as the "Gifted" and most likely label them "top students" without knowing the abilities they actually have. So the Gifted Program has a motive to awaken then develop the students who have superpowers. It's a secret of the school. Only the Gifted students must know and the administrators. But It's different from academic class. They do that class and move to the Gifted class. Why do they have to play it "secret" when there's a potential to use their special abilities and help other people in varies of ways? It's not unequally treated. Gifted class is totally different and far from academic class.
What I mean is, Gifted = Hero.
And what's the point of other Gifted's stories (experience), and some missions when it's messaging being treated equally. Wondering if they have superpowers? Nonsense and doesn't connect to the main theme!

UNEXPECTED MASTERPIECE
DONT GIVE A SECOND THOUGHT ON WATCHING IT OR NOT..JUST GO FOR IT ELSE YOUR GOING TO MISS ONE OF THE BEST SHOW..I was not into Thai drama's but recently started watching thai bl drama's that is how i found the THE GIFTED series to be frank i intially started watching for cast Nanon, chinom, Gun, Sing, Fiat and i found thai drama has more potential then just bl drama man these actors are amazing each and everyone of them was a grandmaster of there acting in love with them and also the plot was mindblowing what an amazing story with best actors and characters now im more into the story than actors.
each epiosde was fantastic and how the showed the character development of every main character rather then focusing on one or two character and how all of them got connected during the last moments by understanding each of them.
ACTORS: actually i didnt except that these actors were capable of carrying such wonderful performance (not in disrespectful way) but man each of them were god of acting -- Nanon has pang was a good leader who intially doubted his potential, Sing as Ohm awwww cutieee he was the laughter for making everyone feel comfort, Gun as Pun and Chinom as Wave what to say both were Handsome as hellllll love d them and Fiat as Korn quite which is totally oppossed of the series i watch of them but was good and also the female charcters Lilly as Nam was also a cutie, Jane as Claire was irritating but has time goes on she is also a beautiful soul and Puimek as Mon ohhh superwomen and ya AJ & JJ also did there best but they were supporting character with less screentime. i loved all 10 gifted students they were amazing.
OST: music track was prefect for delivering each emtions
NOTE : dont except bl aspect in this show not everything is about bl ok.. its about the actors, their acting skill, story, screen play

a must-watch with a wonderfully executed ending
i watched this from 3pm all the way to 3am. it was great, and i thoroughly enjoyed learning about all the characters and their potentials. there's so much packed into these 13 episodes, and every second of this show is worth it. my first thai drama and i'm really glad i tried it! better than a lot of what ive watchedWas this review helpful to you?
Can you guess the next move?
The start looked a bit ordinary, something I wouldn't find very captivating after the number of dramas I have watched.But the change in every episode, the change in the genre, the difference in perspective and a glimpse of the broad view gain my attention. Plot twists were insane, you can't guess over what's going to happen next.
Each episode having it's own genre and the message it wants to convey was something new. It doesn't have a single main character, for everyone in it is THE Protagonist.✨

The best Thai drama I've ever watched
This is a very new genre for me in thai dramas. A brand new sci-fi theory, but without any computer effects. The chemistry between the gifted students is very good, and the episodes give them a stage to shine (justice for the twins btw :)) and the concept is very new, and fantastic. Big appreciation to the writers, production team and the actors. My personal favorite characters from this serial are Namtarn and Ohm.. i love them so much. So, this was my first time watching a thai drama and I picked this one cause I'm a sucker for supernatural. And honestly i quite liked it.There were a lot of things I really enjoyed.
-The story line - how special students managed to pull through the troubles they are having and how having the quality that makes them stand out can also be the reason why they are put on a pedestal or even tear them down. Really brings out the motto, that everything has it's pros and cons. I also really like how they bring in the normal school life with the usual scenarios that are brought to life so the viewers can actually feel and relate to this despite it having supernatural undertones.
I like how the mc becomes nothing to a something but how he still holds on to a strong sense of justice, not letting the power get to him. It also depicts how a leader should be. Not a dictator who does as he wishes but some one who pulls the group together and helps them to stick together as a team. No man left behind. I like how he truly cares for his friends.
I liked the mc's friend's weak punch lines which made the level of seriousness bar a bit lower. And i really like how the villain tries to turn into hero. in fact the growth of each character is seen in each episode, yet the story line does not forget who the main character is, which i found was a very clever way to get the story moving.
However, I would have really liked it if they should the mc's back story as well. As to how he reached each point of his life. so maybe the viewers would be able to justify his actions. Similarly, if noticed only a few of the students in the class had their back stories shined upon and the rest were kinda neglected. Or better way to word it, is that even each student had one episode dedicated to them, they were left and the focus was not back on them again except for subtle hints. It would have been better if they were given a little more attention in other episodes than their own.
I even loved that no CGI or special effects were required to do the supernatural effects (because usually it just feels so fake) and that made it all the more real. Honestly even I might have the ability to do something supernatural like that.
Also there were a few times where I felt the points the drama wanted to get across were not well reached. Even the end of the end, had quite a lot of open ended questions and to me felt a little rushed. Even though it seemed like something failed and there was still hope, i really felt some thing should have ended on a slightly happier not. I get that this was done to build the excitement for the next season but leaving too many questions also leaves people unsatisfied.
- Acting & Cast - Even the acting and cast were really good as I could feel the emotions permeating through the drama. Which for me is very rare to feel in a live action. I could feel each pain the characters feel and could also feel pity for some and understood them. so that meant the acting had to be great and i felt each actor who acted for their part matched very well. The emotions were so clearly seen that it hit hard and I was glad to feel it or I wouldn't have continued with the series.
Over all, this drama was a really good and worth it watch for me. But I would give it a slightly lower score. Only because Im a sucker for supernatural but not for sci-fi.

I really wanted to like this
I did really wanna like this but I found it really slow. And boring. Of course its just me and not the fault of the series because I guess its not my taste. I was barely invested in the series plot. Like yeah cool, kids with random superpowers. But mehThe cineamatpgraphy and actings pretty standard and good though.
I also really hate claire lol
I would reccomend this series but if you have attention deficit issues like me play it at 1.75 speed

Dropped After Watching 2.5 Episodes...
Seeing the new episode of The Gifted Graduation being released on GMMTV's YouTube channel, I was reminded about its prequel, The Gifted, which has received a lot of praise from viewers, but I never was interested due to it not being a BL. However, I decided to give it a chance because I wanted to see what all the hype and praise was about and I wanted a new series to follow while it airs. After watching 1.5 episodes, I was a bit disappointed. Though the performances and production were okay, the writing wasn't particularly good as the story had a lot of illogical plot points and felt a bit too simple in a way, as if was the writer was glossing over the story rather than digging deep into it. I decided to drop the series after watching 2.5 episodes. I found the series to be boring and I didn't enjoy the story. It just wasn't my cup of tea persay.Was this review helpful to you?

Best recommended dramas in thailand
Cocok banget kalo drama ini dapet rating tertinggi dari drama drama yang lain, ga harus tentang percintaan , tiap episodenya bikin penasaran apa kelanjutan ceritanya dan membuat penonton menebak nebak lanjutannya ,bahkan cerita per episode sering diluar prediksi , di episode 4 sempet bingung kenapa cerita "gifted member no.05" berenti disitu aja malah nyeritain yang lain ( potensi anggota lain ) , namun ternyata di episode akhir justru gifted no: 05 tersebut plot twist dari drama ini , episode 13 bener bener bikin penasaran termasuk di ending , ingatan pong dihilangkan, dia kembali jadi siswa kelas 4-8 , namun disitu teka teki cerita ini muncul lagi, pong masuk ke ruang komputer ingatannya kembali, saat dia masuk ke ruang the gifted , wave bilang "sudah siap" dannn.... Tamaatt , penasaran banget sama kelanjutan mereka . Bener bener berharap tahun 2020 dibuatkan lanjutan the gifted 2 , recomended paraaahhhWas this review helpful to you?
