Each cine-drama in the trio is set in a high school, depicting tales of old spirits and secrets that have been long buried in the scene - until now.
The first in the trio ..."8th anniversary" ….the best one according to me
So this one has it all hooked from the start ...short and to the point ...As expected from a horror story, the drama was often dark (literally) ...at times it would go in circles but end up at a different route every time ...a bit predictable, a bit unpredictable …
Although the story is on the familiar theme of exorcism and revenge (or rather karma?) There were other rules such as the 8th year trial and a new way to look at serial murders …(that was one of the ideas I loved ...not too much given attention to, but was quite fresh ) Nevertheless, it is still the typical story of ghosts possessing someone to take revenge.
So for people who like to watch horror movies and dramas ...this one could be a good choice cuz of it’s refreshing end ...but people who have a soft heart and do not like bloodshed ...you can enjoy the other lighter ones …
It’s not like the series will leave you scared or yelling….at least not me ( as someone who doesn’t even blink at sudden appearances/bloodshed on screen ...it was kinda okaish ...not too bad ...cuz I have seen even worse ...and thought how in the world they dare to add horror as genre)
So if you are looking for seriously scary stuff ...look elsewhere( tho if you aren't new to horror you might not find any...lol) ...but if you have nothing to watch or can’t decide ...ofc you can try this out ...it actually holds well considering it’s only 2 eps !!
Re-watch value ...after you know everything ...I don’t think there’s any need to re-watch ...since they don’t have too many petrifying scenes ...almost zero re-watch value (more like it’s quite a rare possibility you find it for the first time considering it’s viewership)
If you are watching it ...I hope you enjoy …
the other reviews for the series can be found on respective pages ...or maybe I'll drop a link in the comment ....(if you wish to read my opinion on them you can check the comment with spoiler tag)

As the drama name suggests the 8th anniversary the story beguns with it . A must-watch
I really liked this episode like woah!! It is really awesome . The ending was unpredictable , I was really shocked after the watching the flashback I really started to hate the character like "how can you do this", "this is wrong" thankfully she got her revenge .Acting :- It is really nice . The actors worked hard
Re-watch value:- I think that if you are watching a suspenseful movie /drama then the re-watch value is pretty low like you already know the killer or the one who was behind the mess then it gets a little boring . Re-watch value for this episode is pretty low but my re-watch value for other episode "the child who wouldn't come" is high as the male lead is really handsome
But it is really nice I recommend you to watch this

GOOD HORROR + CRIME DRAMA WITH TWISTS!!
Out of all my Horror genre watching experience, found an UNIQUE n REFRESHING concept - A Mix of Police Investigation n Horror (Haunting Ghost killings) 👌🏻For a change from the usual horror stories, here, the Vengeful Ghost killings are mistook (atleast by the police detective) as Serial Killer's killings😂 n an extensive police investigation is carried out accordingly.
Considering 8 years back past murders and present day murders, Police concluded that either a psycho serial killer is at loose or a copycat killer has emerged 🤷🏻♀️
I found this concept, New n Good 👌🏻👍🏻 n at the same time, Funny 😂

The miniseries is of High School setting as the title "Strange School Tales" suggests.
(Watched the 4 episodes, 30 mins each Version)
Story is Good with a lot of TWISTS but the Production, mainly the Quality of the Camera Work looked like decade-old movies n so Surprised to know that this is a 2020 series n not of 2000s or 2010s.
Initially, Very SLOW PACED but later, it got INTERESTING - The Haunting, The Past n the Present murders, The Suspense of the Murders etc.
Screenplay is Good.
The Murders of the present day n those 8 years back, all happened n happening in the same High School, the main stories of the past n present, every murder story, everyone related to them n the Plot Twists, EVERYTHING is WELL WRITTEN n WELL EXECUTED.
But at times, it gives some Unclear vibes (either the Story or Screenplay or the Editing) n so gives a feel of lacking something.
Every Actor performed well👌🏻
The Priest, the variations in his character are surprising n that actor acted those very well.
The three guys, classmates from the past, how each one of them became a Detective, a Teacher (in the same High school where they are the alumni) n a Priest, especially why the Priest chose to be a priest, n how they are involved n related to the deaths back then n to the deaths of present day, is Well Written 👌🏻
Even that suspense is well maintained, some are predictable n the other plotlines are surprising👌🏻
The Ghost gal's past story is sad n the killer is a surprise.
The Ending is cool, apt to the Horror setting of the Story - The Ghosts got their revenge n deserved justice 👌🏻

I found the New Approach of a Serial Killer, discussed here, as Very Funny😂
So here they say, a Serial Killing happens when multiple ghosts / vengeful spirits enter into one person's body n take their revenge n so the killings look random n like a serial killing, huh !? 😲
So, they suggest to blame the spirits n not the serial killer (human), what? 😂
So, It's all the mistake of the spirits n not the psycho serial killer? 🤯🤭

My Rating is 8.5 / 10.
For the Story, it would be 9 but bcz of bad camera work, sad to give less rating.
If the Direction, Production, Cinematography, BGM n the Quality is maintained right to the point, Rating would be 9+ 👌🏻
Give a try! Especially Horror genre lovers who love to watch every type n a variety of Horror concepts👍🏻
