The butterflies love and young love give.
A great salute to ones teenage to adult years. A great story that's embedded in friendship and love.To say that I fell in love with this series is an understatement. It gave me all the feels. I enjoyed the friendships and relationships that took place. I enjoyed the growth and the portrayal of men showing feelings more than just being stoic.
While to story was mainly centered on the two childhoold friends, Ling Chao and Xiao Tu, the development and character growth of Jiang Juan Juan and Jia Sia Wen was the perfect icing on the cake. From total opposites, to uncanny friendship and camaraderie, to long distance relationships, to break up, and back to growth and being back together. The sacrifices and growth in that journey was the main highlight of the show to me. It was only in the last three episodes that they were given proper highlight, but the way their story was written was so beautiful and heartbreaking. The quiet sacrifices they both did for each other, especially the story of Jia Si Wen made me bawl my eyes. The insecurities of Jiang Juan Juan also hit home and made me bawl some more. It was beautiful and it honestly portrayed youth. While they aren't the main leads in this show, their story had more pinch to it. It resonated with me more.
Definitely won't tire rewatching this show!

Made me Laugh
This is one of my favorite C-Dramas. Zhang Miao Yi made me laugh in all the episodes, she is brilliant in this drama and so is Jun. The two main leads are perfect in this romance, comedy, and both had wonderful chemistry together. I even watched it twice, I loved it so much. All the characters are great. I hate love triangles that is the part that made my heart ache for the other character. Thanks to the Director Gong Yu Shi for making this wonderful drama and making a cast of actors work well together.Jun and Zhang Miao Yi , did very well. If you are looking for two main leads with great chemistry this show has it. This is a must watch drama. If you are looking for a feel good, romantic comedy, this C-Drama is for you.

Such a cute little rom-com.
Honestly, I loved it way more that I was expecting to. I went in thinking that it was just gonna be this cute little show (which it was) but it was also really funny and made my heart flutter. The chemistry between Chao and TuTu is UNMATCHED. They were literally destined to be together and I was rooting for them the whole time. Also, I loved how cute Juanjuan and Siwen were. Yes the drama was a little cheesy sometimes but that’s literally any and every rom-com you watch if we’re being honest. The only thing I wish could’ve been done differently was the dubbing. Now I KNOW and understand why they dub Chinese dramas, don’t get me wrong. I just wished we could actually hear the actor’s real voices, but that’s okay. They all did an amazing job. I was hooked from start to finish. Was this review helpful to you?
SUPER cute C drama, kind of the point of Rom-Coms
Call all Seventeen fans! I'm into K-pop and when I realized Jun from Seventeen would be in a C-drama, I didn't care what drama it would be, I would watch it.Miaoyi is super cute and I totally fell in love with her in When I Fly towards you, so I was pretty excited for this pairing. I want to say Miaoyi totally carried the show. Jun is good I candy, but his dubbing needs a touch more practice (not sure if they used his own voice, I want to say yes?). I appreciate Jun's acting ability, because he's not really a professional actor, so it was pretty good, but with a few more dramas, I believe he can be great in no time.
The rom-com is totally adorable and cute. It's EVERYTHING you want in a C drama. Very cheesy moments, a lot of tension and very low angst. I kind of wished the episodes weren't so short at 30mins, I pretty much finished the drama in no time. The drama is my favorite kind of youth drama, it starts out with the characters in high school, then they eventually go to college and finally become young adults. So, you get plenty of skinship!
This drama is really fan-service to Jun's fans or anyone who loves classic C drama troupes. I really do appreciate these high cheese, high adorable shows because it really puts me in a good mood.

Just Watch & Enjoy the Cute!
Such a cute drama! Cliche? Yes. Do I care? Not even a little bit!!I was already a huge fan of our Leads - him as a member of Seventeen (a k-pop group for those unaware. Give them a listen, they’re so good!!) and her as an actress (have you watched “When I Fly Towards You”? Doooo ittttt!!!). After watching this drama, I love both of them even more 💜💜💜
Our Leads are total opposites who constantly “fight” like siblings (which is basically what they grew up as since their parents are close) but let someone else try to pick on one of them and the other will put a full stop to it realllll quick, which is such fun to watch 😉
I really enjoyed seeing their relationship progress from friends to more and the ways the ML went about wooing the FL. And I truly loved how he never wanted her to change to fit some rule of how a girlfriend should be. He always made sure she knew that he loved her because she’s HER so she should just ignore all the well-meaning advice from others and just be herself. That’s a message people need to hear!
They have really good chemistry and they flowed so seamlessly. And I loved how, when they went to lovers, they didn’t suddenly become awkward and shy. The kisses and skinship are so easy and natural, which I really appreciate in a drama. 😍
I also like how they addressed the fact that fans should love our stars on stage, but take a step back from their personal lives. They don’t owe us every single detail of their lives just because they’re famous. They deserve private lives and, if we’re truly their fans, we should really respect that 💜🩵🩷
I’ve already watched my favorite episodes multiple times and I know I’ll continue doing so when I’m in the mood for a cute and drama-free love with no toxicity, multiple misunderstandings, or pointless breakups in sight 🫶🏻
{So why not a full 10 stars? Because the FL’s cluelessness about the SML’s feelings (and her own) in the first half was one trope I really wish they’d skipped 🤷🏻♀️}

If you want to see a very handsome ML who will make your heart flutter, WATCH THIS!
It's my first time writing a review about a CDrama I watched, and I must say, I love this one. Actually, I did not know that Ling Chao (Jun) was a K-pop idol and part of the Seventeen group, although I've heard of the group. Honestly, I am a BTS and Enhypen fan, but I will add Seventeen to my favorites because of Jun.The story was refreshing and light, and Jun can really make your heart flutter. The FL was cute and funny. I loved how the story ended, and I also admired the cool and supportive parents. It was really a fun drama to watch, with some cute, sweet and romantic scenes.
Jun was really awesome, and I can't get enough of him. I want to see more of his Dramas.

Lovely and surprisingly spicy youth to college romcom/dramady
I really love Zhang Miao Yi. She's adorable without coming across cringy or baby-like. That's rare in Cdramas (I've found). That said, she always seems to play exactly the same character. And, you know what? that's okay because she always plays that character REALLY well. The chemistry between the leads (actors on screen) was quite good during critical (romantic) scenes, but the ML's voice (dubbing?) sounded flat and lacked emotion even during the critical scenes. So, interestingly, the on-screen acting was good; the voice acting wasn't so good.
Also... I have to talk about the spicy scenes. I am not used to kissing scenes being this realistic in CDramas, so this caught me off guard. I closed my laptop at one point and stared at the floor, wondering what I'd just watched, before finishing the scene with a new mindset. I don't mind spicy scenes at all, but I wasn't prepared, you know? I mean, this felt more like a JDrama level of spicy.
In summary, it was quite good, funny, with great chemistry, well-paced (for the most part) with reliable tropes and solid acting. The story is a predictable one, but that's fine. You'll get what you expect.
EXCEPT THE SURPRISINGLY SPICY SCENES / KISSES. O.o

Fun and fluff
Exclusive Fairytale is a take on the old childhood friends to lovers trope that chinese dramas seem to thrive on. While it might not be winning awards for its relatively simple plot, it is a very good watch if you're in a slump. The entire drama mocks fun at certain tropes - ML trying for a kabedon only to be thrown into the lake, or the fangirling for Jun lol. The chemistry between the leads and the second leads are rather good. It is a pretty lighthearted story for when you just want some fun and fluff.

A Fairytale
finally I watched this. being a carat i was waiting for this soo long to see jun as an actor and also since hoshi already gave us spoiler that there was going to be kissing scene I was soo excited to see that... I'm a jun biased but I'm not saying this just bcuz I like him but seriously he is too good as an actor xiao tou and ling Chao are my two cuties also the second couple awww they are the sweetest when they broke up I was so sad glad siwan showed courage and saved that relationship.. also xiao tou and Ling chao relation is so healthy loved they was being themselves even after they started dating, when ling chao told xiao tou not to do something in which she is not comfortable ❤ also apart all the guys who have crush on xiao tou I liked zihan most cuz when he know that he can never be more that friend to her he backed of, the other two one that jerk I got so happy when chao kicked him also exposed him and the second guy (the biker boy) was too annoying playing innocent to broke their relation ling chao played very well he beats him in his own game.. over all series is good make you laugh, blush, smile likes an idiot..Was this review helpful to you?

CUTE,FLUFFY,CHILDHOOD TO ADULT WITH A HOT SURPRISE AT THE END
This is going to be short and short so here we go.Everytime i get traumatized by a drama,I try to find something
that will cleanse my brain palate and will warm my heart no matter
how cute and childish it is.And this was the best candite.
Nothing original here, same old highschool, childhood to adulthood.
where the leads grow up together, its like a lighter version of Go Ahead
And When i fly towards you.
What I really liked was the ML.He had a commanding chemistry even though
It was met by FL natural butterfly character that had a personality of a 12 yr
But he kept it grounded and loved her as she was and protected and cared for
her alot.
He gave us a surprise of very hot scenes,we didnt know we needed.
For those who knew the actor from the k-pop idol group SEVENTEEN were
shocked to see how he managed these scenes ,even though he is know to be
of a quiet nature so I would really wish he can do more acting.
You could see how he helped the FL to be comfortable in her own skin.

"Exclusive Fairytale: A Delightful and Charming Childhood Friends-to-Lovers Tale"
Whether you're a fan of Jun from SEVENTEEN or Zhang Miao Yi from "When I fly towards you" (WIFTY), this drama will captivate you, provided you approach it with an open mind. Some have compared it to WIFTY and faced a bit of difficulty in doing so. However, I consider myself fortunate to compartmentalize each drama in its own world. Here's everything I adored about this show:Firstly, the parents, especially the moms, are absolutely adorable as they play cupid, rooting for the main characters to fall in love. It's heartwarming to witness their efforts.
Secondly, the kids portraying Xia Tao and Ling Chao in their childhood flashbacks were incredibly cute. Watching them grow from babies to adorable toddlers added a special charm to the story.
Despite initial concerns about Zhang Miao Yi's chemistry with Jun, who just came off WIFTY, they surprisingly complemented each other perfectly. There was a particular scene where they played charades together to get a discount, and their synchronization was so seamless that it felt like they shared a single brain cell.
As the story progresses, particularly from Episode 20 onwards, things get heated and their chemistry reaches a whole new level. Hearing Jun say, "Time for class," even if the subtitles weren't perfectly accurate, had a profound impact on me. It further proved that Zhang Miao Yi is a talented actress who can connect well with various male leads.
In essence, "Exclusive Fairytale" is a delightful Cdrama that is stress-free and filled with camaraderie. The 24 episodes progress smoothly, making it an enjoyable watch for anyone seeking a heartwarming and engaging series.
