Nothing Like The Trailers!!

I watched the trailers and thought we'd get an injured guy who required physical therapy and that he and his physical therapist would fall in love over the therapy sessions and through the healing process together.

NOPE!!!
Not even close!!

The first 10 episodes were incredibly slow and probably could have been done in 2-3 episodes maximum. Then episodes 11 and 12 were just questions upon questions upon questions that led to a whole lot of, "WTF did I just watch?"

Really, the downhill side starts at the end of episode 10 when no one explains what happened to Dr. Yang and what the photos were of and what was posted about him. I even tried using a translator to read the text given and it was a mess that made no sense. So, I have no idea what that whole bit was about.

Milk & Pun weren't even in a fully established relationship yet, but hey give them a baby and 30 seconds later fast forward 5 years later and they're a happy family of 3 in episode 11.

Toss in Pun's parents and the fact that they haven't seen him or talked to him in something like 4 years and they suddenly visit and want to have a good relationship with everyone... but we never learn why they were on bad terms to begin with.

Who is Jame and why did it feel like he was preying on both Pun and Milk when he met them separately in the last episode?

Suddenly the biological mother of their son decides she can be a good mother and she takes him back, and Milk doesn't seem to fully understand why Pun is heartbroken at losing the son he's raised for 5 years??

After all of this Pun suddenly proposed to Milk, who accepted, and everyone takes that as their wedding and yay, congrats for them!! By the way, the end!

If things had stayed slow, and mildly boring, but kept a steady theme/story through the whole thing then this would be a completely different review. However, they threw in so much WTF and the kitchen sink at the end that there's no way to redeem the last 2.5 episodes.

oh..

okay i don’t wanna shit on it too bad it genuinely has it good points… but what was that ending

i saw some of the reviews before going into this and was wondering why everyone said it was so bad. so being curious i watched a few episodes and surprise genuinely liked it??? the build up of the main couples relationship was honestly not that bad and i found myself giggling at some parts.

oh but after episode 8… what happened. it felt like they just got lazy and couldn’t think of how to end the show. i kept trying to give them the benefit of the doubt but then things just got so confusing?? what do you mean 5 years later? what do you mean they have a kid but it’s not really their kid? i was losing my mind by episode 11 and skipped through episode 12. i don’t know what was going on in the screenwriter or directors head but .. wow.

though one good thing Milk’s actor was very lovable and very good. i think he was just dealt a bad series. nonetheless i would love to see him as a man in another drama!

What a pity … what a waste!

I would like to keep it short because there have already been several detailed reviews. It's such a shame for me that I have to say it. But it's honestly one of the worst shows I've ever seen. But read to the end.

Is there really a plot to the series other than a doctor falling in love with a graphic designer? The scenes seem to be strung together so randomly, the conversations are completely irrational and meaningless. Several people suddenly appear in the plot who are completely irrelevant and have no connection to the plot.
There is hardly any background information about the characters to find, so you can only guess what the characters are thinking and why they act the way they do.
That's why personal development of the characters in the series is not possible at all... something you want to see as a viewer in order to follow a plot.

Many complained about the actors' acting skills. But can you really blame them for that? They act as the script and direction dictate. What should they do if, for example, Son behaves like a virgin who has never kissed anyone? How is the main couple supposed to portray charm and romance if they have to play their roles from start to finish as if they were on sleeping pills? They don't even get to use the romantic moments to show the development of their relationship.

But that applies to the entire series, which crawls along completely lamely. This blame should be leveled at the director!
But it starts with the script, which seems completely thrown together. Even the best screenwriter cannot compensate for the lack of connections and meaningful dialogue. Here an example of this too. A person is currently completely desperate and is asked whether everything is okay. How ignorant do you have to be to not be able to answer this stupid question yourself?!?

I have to give the rewatch value a grade of 1 because a zero is not provided. I will not watch the series in this version again and cannot recommend it. It's an incredible waste of time (both the production and the audience's), money and the talent of the actors! It is only because of the actors that the series receives an overall rating of well-intentioned 2 points. They made the best of their roles that was possible given by the poor script.

It's a real shame because the idea of ​​the series is really good and I liked it so much. Ideally, I would like to completely revise the script and shoot the series again with the same actors, but a real plot and a new crew!

Boring & Confusing

Most boring BL I ever watched. Started off quite well, with nice scenes full of chemistry, but it all died halfway into the drama. Besides being boring, there seem to be pieces missing from the narrative. We are left guessing to backstories which were probably left on the editing floor. This got progressively worse and then we are suddenly projected 5 years into the future without any foreshadowing whatsoever, And there's a kid as well that we are supposed to understand is the sister's child... I mean come on! don't make all the drama about us trying to understand the drama! And WHY after 5 years does Milk still not want to kiss his bf? WHY does he make such a face even when being proposed to? Glad it's over. Please do better!

In short this drama was cute, the only thing thing I liked in this drama was the romance between main leads but there are some major factors that I didn't like 1. the drama is too slow ( I literally had to watch it in 2x speed ) 2. the production quality is not so great 3. from the 7-8 ep the drama was becoming a bit boring 4. the script could have been a lot more better

Why the series has low rating

First of all... This story wasn't bad as other reviews say.. It was a simple and cute story. And the casting was perfect, i really liked the Main leads and the friends gang...
Story
A boy(Bottom)whose boyfriend broke up with him was very sad. But then he met a doctor(Top) who is also a physiotherapist, who also had some complicated family issues. From the moment the doctor saw him, he falls in love with that boy. And in the moment of taking care of each other. They slowly falls for each other. Then the doctor's fiance by name comes and there are some complications between them.. And also the ex boyfriend of the boy also comes out. And the boy realised that the boyfriend broke up with him because he is having a illness. But still they won't makeup but stays frds. Though the boy took care of his boyfriend but still he informed everything to doctor whom he was currently at talking stage. And there are still some story about other side charector like the Doctor frd of Top who also had a crush on Bottom. And then this doctor will become a couple with one of Bottoms frd. And also Top's fiance who blackmailed Top with an old debt realises that the Doctor Top won't fall for her and she will never have a chance and will give up her one sided love . And years later Top and Bottom adopt a child and live happily ever after marriage life.
A good and simple story, which had Bottoms supportive parents, friends and colleagues and a top who is really sincere and loves him.. i really want to give an 8.5 for the way they ended the series..BUT.....
But why the story is rated so low... The reason is written below
Well, first of all The series had soo many loop holes.. like many part that were not complete.. Many scenes were changed from what we actually saw at the beginning. For the example, when all the friends were introduced or shown together one of them came in with a snake toy but later at the next second the snake toy disappears from his hand and will be seen in the hands of ML who is on the couch... And there is not just one or two scenes like that. And there were many of the plot points were abandoned half way or was really useless like, how it showed that one of Bottoms frd who died and the Top's frd doctor who later liked Bottom had some connection with that dead frd. Like what was it..
Secondly, there were soo many drags.. This series would have been much better if they cut down all those useless and dragging scenes which only helped them to fill the time limit of 40 minutes. If they cut those part and made it only for 20 minutes long short series, then it would have been much better. For example, why was there a scene were MC aka Bottom goes to temple and wastes time there after his breakup just why.....? And why there is so many like 2 to 3 minute silence in between the conversation.. like what..?
Thirdly, Scenes that gone missing or changing from one to another and off timing in between... Look when MC had an accident, it showed that his frds didn't know about the accident and won't even search their frd who gone missing. Then in the next minute.. They act like they know everything about the accident..Just how... And when ML aka doctor Top was in bathroom/ washroom, MC's frds comes in and call MC which the next second (the background) changes from washroom to Hall where they work.. Well how.. And how did they teased MC even before they get to know the relationship of MC and ML...They weren't even surprised as to why the ML was in MC's house..
(Ha.... There are so many things to write ✍️ that I am feeling tired)
Fourth, most of the plot twist were incomplete. Like what happened with ML's debt with his fiance... What about the company owners relationship with her boyfriend and friend. What was the reason MC's frd blackmailing second ML doctor , who published second Main leads sleeping photo, how can ML and MC get a child when they can't adopt one if they are not married(even though at that time even if they married they couldn't adopt one as per law..., well we can ignore it since it showed 5 years after..). And what about Second ML's crush on MC... What was the relationship between Second ML and MC's dead frd...
Fifthly, Plot confussion...the reason MC's ex broke up with him is unknown. It is said that he got depression after the breakup.. So why they act like he broke up because of Depression and didn't wanted his depression to affect MC. What the hell... Who breakup with his boyfriend for that.. Even if they broke up for that reason the way they make up was soo simple.. Like, why are they acting like he had some terminal illness... Lol...
And when MC falls in swimming pool in child hood. The one who took him out of the water was MC's ex.. But still he says he didn't save him.. Well ML did save him but still why it is soo exaggerated. If MC fell into the water and ML saved him and performed first aid... Then we can say it matters... What with that...
And there are many scenes were the actors did a half a**ed performance... Like what with the way they cry.. How is MC reacting to his frds death...
(Haa... The more I write.. the more I remember. I can't stay all day writing. So I am ending..)

So, now I will say the main part... This is like a good toy given to a newborn beby who don't even know how to play with it... The production was soo low quality. The directing s*cks... And the editing was sooo bad that it cut all the essence and filled it with useless scenes. And the series feels like the director was half asleep when filming... Like when we read a book or watch a video, we will forget half the part.. Just like that... And the production... If there was a error in the scene, you should reshoot it... Even if it's out of budget.. What with all those minor mistake which even a primary school student will notice... And the screenwriter. I highly doubt, if there is really a screenwriter involved or not.. I think even a newbie writer could write a better screenplay...
If this story and the cast was given to a good director and a production crew with a good screenwriter then It would have become a trend or legend in BL industry. I am sure of it.. Though story have many common thing we see in C,K,J drama or series.. still most of it were new for bl industry. So liked the way they mixed all the usual plots in one bl series... But the bad production, direction and screenwriting made it worse. I am not saying acting was perfect... There were many parts which had awkward acting and felt like actors didn't even tried to act well... But still it wasn't that much complicated. A good director can hide and makeup for all the shortcomings of the actors.. well not everyone can act well for their first series.. But they, expecially the main cast's, acted much better ,if we look at the fact that this was their first series'...
(There is still many things I want to write... But don't have the time and also I don't think anybody will read this...)

Someone please give these actors better scripts!

I'd read comments about how awful this show was, and I thought, "It can't be that bad, I'll judge it for myself." And well....I just want to know who let this drama happen?? Why didn't the director stop this?? Do the writers still have jobs??

The acting was pretty dang good. Especially since they really didn't have anything to go on. I've seen much, much worse acting. But the dialogue, what little of it that there was, was pretty bad in a lot of places. Not all of it was horrible. And there were some life-lessons they tried to address. I appreciate that they made an attempt to deal with problems such as depression, family, friends, relationships, and a few lgbtq+ issues. They just weren't dealt with very well.

I had issues with several of the storylines and plot devices. The sister's storyline was total BS. Taking the kid away? I had sympathy towards her until she did that. The aunt telling Rose to push Dr. Yang out of his job? Nope. And Dr. Pun....I just don't even know what to say about him. I liked him even though he was unprofessional, pushy, and disrespectful at times--I've never seen someone be respectful and disrespectful at the same time, but this character managed it,-- but some of the things he did were, in my opinion, verging on sexual assault....luckily he never pushed it that far. And then there was the flash forward, and for a while I wasn't sure if all of the scenes from that point on were future scenes or if they were flashing back to the past again. It just wasn't done well.

I feel sorry for the actors. Most of them were really good, especially considering they had all those long pauses and drawn out scenes. But there were production issues, sound issues, writing issues, etc. The actual story had such potential. It was simply wasted in my opinion. This was one time that I agree with the comments.

Sometimes less is more

I find this an enjoyable watch. Its story line is simplified and uncomplicated. Up to ep 8 it doesn't have a lot of complicated scenarios that make you have to rewind to complete the story. It shows how love can happen anywhere or any time. I read a saying that says, "love knows no age, no gender, no race" . The two male main leads have a good chemistry and their scenes together seem somewhat natural. Sometimes you find a drama that eventhough there wasn't a lot of promotion for; come to be a worthwhile watch and this show seems to fit that case for me, I hope both of these male leads have an opportunity to do more dramas.

Doesn't heal pain, only causes

At first, I loved the look of Petch and Son. Maybe I watched it completely because of their physical appearance, I don't know why I sat through this series.

Milk, a quite cute guy, who was sulking the whole time, is in hospital because of injuries. He is always in a bad mood. I really don't know why Dr. Pun fell for this childish and selfish guy. Jeeez!!
We get odd scenes of jealousy, weird family scenes. I have clearly no idea what's the idea of this story was, and why was it called physical therapy????? The doc watched over his patient in his freetime (and this freaking dumb guy did not really appreciate the concern... aaaargh).

I rate the acting 2.5 stars, 0.5 for Son's cute face, 1 for Petch's body, 1 for the After-shower scene. 1 star for story, only because You can't give 0. I was asking myself the whole time, what's happening??? There was a side story about a patient in coma, they mention him quite sometimes, but it's a dead end. I didn't get the necessity of the straight side couple, which turns out to no couple .... They characters have a big meeting and want to play games, but then the "game" is a sleeping in a room, all together, middle of the day. Or they raise the nephew of Milk for 5 years and then the sister take the boy back, from one day to another. Dr. Pun is suffering and i would say it's a depression (?) . And as always, a depression can be cured in a day. WHAAAAT???
In the last 10 minutes the introduce a new character, maybe a rival for Dr. Pun.... WHYYYY??? AAAahhhh it's a big mess.

The music was not disturbing, that's all I can remember. Petch sings a song, has a nice voice, but why did he sing ???
Rewatchable??? Nope!! No! NEVER!!! I was forced to rate at least a 1, but for me it's a clear ZERO!!!

Really, I stop here, this series is absolutely messed up. Just like this Review.
