Invisible Love (2024)

Invisible Love is a nice romantic web series with a comedic flair. The leading couple, Li Zheng He / Li Xuan Bin (played by Sun Yue) and Lin Zhi Yi (played by Zhang Chu Xuan) has a very funny and sensual chemistry that keeps the drama interesting to watch. There are some mysteries regarding Lin Zhi Yi’s family affairs and her mother’s demise that come to light by the end of the drama and there is also Li Zheng He’s incomprehensible attitude toward Lin Zhi Yi but, at the end of it all, love prevails. Even though the drama is quite entertaining, the intimate scenes, although full of sensuality, were failed attempts by accidental “comical” events. Most of the supporting cast and the leading couple did a great job bringing their characters to life. Enjoy it!

Light dramedy that exceeded my expectations

'Invisible Love' is my second vertical drama that paired Zhang Chu Xuan and Sun Yue. The first drama is 'Bride Under the Moonlight'.

What I liked:
1) Comedy - Wow, I was surprised from the get-go because the start was funny.
2) Drama - Then somewhere in the middle there was the car accident. I didn't expect this scene to be emotional - it really touched my heart.
3) Acting - I really enjoyed watching both Zhang Chu Xuan and Sue Yue's acting especially when they were both on screen together. They looked like a real couple who genuinely cared for each other.

What I disliked:
1) Romance - It's not that I dislike, I just wish we get more romantic scenes especially towards the end. I want more kissing scenes!
2) ML's father - I dislike him for taking that action for his sons. He also didn't seem to build a relationship with his granddaughter.

Potential drama with potential CP

I watched this when i want to see Sun Yue acting with other female than Xu Yizhen and Zhang Chuxuan is one of good partner for Sun Yue. They got dynamic duo and too bad their chemistry didn't utilized well since there is less romantic moment between them.

The plot is combination between thriller and angst with less romantic moment. There is no dragged moment expect SFL moment. I felt sad when ML was announced dead after saving FL for antagonist. The ending is not enough since we love to see the couple moment longer.

Recommended to see Thriller with little angst.
