Matori and Kyoken (2026)

A drug-related murder occurs at a club in Roppongi. A customer stabs a waiter after overdosing on cocaine, and then dies himself. The person who sold the drugs to this customer was Umezawa Kyonosuke, a former popular child actor whose life took a downward turn, leading him to become a drug dealer. As usual, Umezawa is packaging narcotics with his associates in an apartment when narcotics agents (commonly known as “Matori”) suddenly raid the place! Umezawa narrowly escapes the scene, but is soon caught by Kurosaki Toru, a man with an abnormally obsessive fixation on drugs who is pursuing the case. Kurosaki threatens him, saying, “Become my S (spy),” in exchange for not arresting him, forcing Umezawa to become Kurosaki’s “S.” Then, just as this happens, Umezawa is arrested by Katsuragi Akito, an assistant inspector in the Metropolitan Police Department’s Drug and Firearms Control Division. Katsuragi also orders him to “become a spy for the police.” Thus, Umezawa is driven into a hellish position as a “double spy for the Matori and the police”.
