The first stills of SBS's upcoming Friday-Saturday drama The Haunted Palace starring Bona have been revealed.

The Haunted Palace is a fantasy drama that follows Yeo Ri (Bona), the only granddaughter of a famous shaman who refuses to accept her destiny as a spirit medium, and Yoon Gap (Yook Sung Jae), who becomes possessed by an imugi, which is related to Yeo Ri, as they confront a vengeful spirit harboring a deep grudge against the royal family.

Bona comes as Yeo Ri, the only granddaughter of a renowned shaman who possesses extraordinary abilities. However, she refuses to walk that path and chooses to live as an artisan making eyeglasses.

When the evil imugi, who failed to become a dragon, seeks to ascend by borrowing the body of the spirit medium Yeo Ri, her life takes a tragic turn, and she sees imugi Kang Cheol as her mortal enemy. However, when the imugi possesses the body of her childhood acquaintance, Yoon Gap, she gets dragged into chaos and misfortune.

The newly released stills give a glimpse of Bona in a traditional hanbok. Her character, Yeo Ri, is a strong-willed character who takes control of her own destiny. Additionally, the stills pique curiosity as they depict her tightly wrapped in plain cloth while holding a bamboo stick, performing a ritual. Born with the innate talent of a spirit medium, Yeo Ri dedicates her spiritual abilities entirely to appeasing the grudges and wandering souls of vengeful spirits that cause strange incidents throughout the capital.

The production team of The Haunted Palace stated, "Bona, who has consistently proven her exceptional ability to embody characters and her stable acting skills, has firmly established herself as an actress. She will deliver an even more multi-dimensional and profound performance as Yeo Ri." They added, "On set, Bona not only gave an all-in performance without holding back but also impressed with her incredible synergy with her co-star, Yook Sung Jae, befitting their same-age pairing dynamic. We ask for your anticipation and interest."

The Haunted Palace premieres this April. News about the K-drama's global OTT service is yet to come. Stay tuned!
