'Study Group Season 2' casts Kwon Sang Woo as Hwang Min Hyun's uncle
Chinese thriller Love between Lines, led by Chen Xing Xu and Lu Yu Xiao, is coming January 9.
The drama tells the story of Hu Xi, who falls into the lowest point of her life after her fiancé disappears and encounters NPC actor Xiao Zhi Yu in a murder mystery game. Amid the shadows of espionage in the virtual world, the two face a mystery of identities when they reunite in reality.
Shuttling between the misaligned time and space of the scripted fantasy world and real life, they gradually break free from the predicament of virtualized emotions, ultimately achieving growth and an emotional transformation from within the story and beyond it.
Through the perspectives of characters such as Pei Zhen and Zhao Xiao Rou, the drama reflects modern urbanites' reconsideration of their views on relationships and their pursuit of genuine connections.
Xiao Zhi Yu and Hu Xiu become connected through a murder mystery game set in the Republican era.
