Choo Young Woo shuns people to protect them from his ill fate in 'Head Over Heels'
tvN unveils Cho Yi Hyun's stills from Head over Heels.
Head over Heels follows Park Seong Ah (Cho Yi Hyun), a high schooler by day and a shaman by night, as she tries to save Bae Gyeon Woo (Choo Young Woo), who is plagued by misfortune.
The stills give a glimpse of Park Seong Ah's double life. By day, she's an ordinary 18-year-old high school student; by night, she is the renowned and gifted shaman Fairy Cheon Ji.
Despite living a hectic life, Park Seong Ah can't give up being a student because she dreams of being ordinary. For her, being called a regular student rather than Fairy Cheon Ji is a small but assured happiness.
Cho Yi Hyun shared, "When I first read the script, it felt solid and interesting. Since the project blends not only rom-com but also various other genres, I felt I'd be able to show multiple sides of myself," revealing why she chose the role.
She described her character Park Seong Ah as "young but mature, a person with a pure and clear soul." She continued, "Seong Ah is a character who wants to be an ordinary student." "I focused on portraying her bold charm as she does her best to live in the present."
She added, "To realistically portray Park Seong Ah as a shaman, I had many conversations with a consultant [shaman] and repeatedly practiced."
Head over Heels is coming on June 23 on Prime Video.
