Choi Won Young confirmed to star alongside Nam Ji Hyun and Moon Sang Min in 'Dear Bandit'
Trending actor Choo Young Woo received the offer to lead a new K-drama helmed by Crash Landing on You director.
On March 27, media outlet SPOTV News reported that Choo Young Woo has been chosen to lead the upcoming K-drama Long Vacation.
The new K-drama will be the next work of renowned director Lee Jeong Hyo. He is known for creating the K-dramas Doona!, Crash Landing on You, Romance Is a Bonus Book, The Good Wife, Because It's the First Time, and more. Before he worked on Long Vacation, he will first work on the much anticipated K-dramas When the Day Breaks (led by Han Seok Kyu and Jung Yu Mi) and The Price of Confession (led by Jeon Do Yeon, Kim Go Eun, and Park Hae Soo).
There is no information yet about the plot of the K-drama as well as its broadcast channel and premiere date. There are also no details yet on which actors will possibly work with Choo Young Woo in the upcoming series.
If Choo Young Woo confirms his casting, this will be his third upcoming K-drama.
Early this year, he impressed viewers with his performance in the hit Netflix K-drama The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call. He showcased great chemistry with Ju Ji Hoon, Ha Young, Yoon Gyung Ho, Jeong Jae Kwang, and Kim Eui Sung.
He will also star in another Netflix original series titled Mercy for None. He will join hands with the star studded casts So Ji Sub, Huh Joon Ho, Ahn Kil Kang, Lee Bum Soo, and Gong Myung.
Choo Young Woo will also return to romance K-dramas this year with the upcoming series Gyeon U and Fairy. He will work alongside Cho Yi Hyun, Choo Ja Hyun, Kim Mi Kyung, Park Jung Pyo, and Cha Gang Yun.
