Cha Hak Yeon reveals how he prepared to play Go Kyun Woo in Oh My Ghost Clients.

Oh My Ghost Clients is a fantasy comedy action drama about the labor attorney No Mu Jin (Jung Kyung Ho), who gains a supernatural ability to see ghosts. He sets out on a thrilling journey to resolve their labor disputes.

Speaking about the charm of his character, Kyun Woo, Cha Hak Yeon shared, "At times, he may seem like a carefree, crazy person, but he's actually someone who makes quick judgments and plays a key role in finding solutions during moments of crisis. His unique charm felt like a refreshing 'sparkling water' that clears blockages and leaves you wanting more, and that really drew me to this character. Since the drama deals with some heavy subject matter, there are many serious moments, but I liked how Kyun Woo occasionally brings a smile amidst it all."

Talking about how he prepared, he said, "I sat alone in front of my computer at home and pretended that many viewers were waiting for me, then did live broadcasts. I set up a tripod, smartphone, and lighting, and practiced recording by myself, which helped me gradually get closer to [understanding] Kyun Woo's character. The opening greeting was always the hardest part, and I kept messing it up every time, but thankfully, as I got to the actual filming, I had become more comfortable and natural. I hope you look forward to the 'Kyun-jjang TV' scenes in the drama." "Kyun Woo wears clothes with vivid colors and flashy patterns, so I hope you also enjoy his fashion style."

Cha Hak Yeon expressed, "The character of Kyun Woo felt like a real 'challenge' for me." He went on to share, "While portraying Kyun Woo, I kept thinking about how to portray this comic and cheerful character without making him seem shallow. Through this, I began to understand, even if just a little, what senior actors mean when they say that doing comedy is difficult."

Talking about working with Jung Kyung Ho and Seol In Ah, Cha shared, "When it came to choosing the project, not only was the script really fun, but I also had high hopes that I’d be able to create something enjoyable together with the 'Mu Jins'. On set, Jung Kyung Ho led us really well, and thanks to the constant conversations I had with Jung Kyung Ho and Seol In Ah, we were able to create fun scenes together. I'm truly grateful for that."
