tvN released a new video teaser for the romantic comedy K-drama The Divorce Insurance.
On February 24, tvN released a one-of-a-kind teaser for their upcoming Monday-Tuesday K-drama The Divorce Insurance.
Starring Lee Dong Wook, Lee Joo Bin, Lee Kwang Soo, and Lee Da Hee, The Divorce Insurance will showcase the journey of the product development team at Plus Insurance. The team will introduce their newly developed insurance policy for divorce, given that this is already an era where divorce rates are skyrocketing.
The upcoming K-drama will be the collaboration work of director Lee Won Suk (Killing Romance, The Royal Tailor, and How to Use Guys with Secret Tips) and writer Lee Jae Yoon (Secret Royal Inspector & Joy).
Aside from the main leads, actors Kim Won Hae, WJSN's EXY, Jo Jae Yoon, and Nam Chang Hee will join the cast.
The video teaser, styled like a commercial, features Lee Dong Wook as No Gi Jun introducing "Divorce Insurance." He began by discussing various insurance types before introducing his own: "Divorce Insurance that guarantees your happiness." He claims, "However, there has never been insurance that prepares you for this." The teaser then features Lee Joo Bin, Lee Kwang Soo, and Lee Da Hee, who deliver the final message, "Plus Insurance is rooting for you!"
Divorce Insurance will begin airing on March 31 at 8:50 PM KST.
Lee Dong Wook will portray the role of No Gi Jun, the leader of the product development team at Plus Insurance. He seems like a perfect guy with his skills and looks, but he has married and divorced three times.
Lee Joo Bin will portray the role of Kang Han Deul. He is also part of the product development team at Plus Insurance. Her role in the team is to review the insurance contracts. She is also a divorcee.
Lee Kwang Soo will play An Jeon Man in the series. His current role on the team is that of a risk surveyor. He suggests accident prevention measures and effective insurance programs. Being part of the team is the biggest adventure of his life.
Lee Da Hee will portray the character Jeon Na Rae. She works as a financial mathematician. Like No Gi Jun and Kang Han Deul, she is also a divorcee. She separated from her husband after realizing their differing values during their honeymoon. She then joined the product development team at Plus Insurance as a special advisory quantitative analyst.
