
Go Youn Jung and Koo Kyo Hwan are reportedly joining forces in a new K-drama.
According to various media outlets, on April 21, Go Youn Jung and Koo Kyo Hwan are the main leads of the upcoming K-drama created by When the Camellia Blooms director and My Liberation Notes writer titled Everyone is Fighting Against Their Own Worthlessness.
Responding to casting reports, Go Youn Jung's agency, MAA, and Koo Kyo Hwan's agency, Namoo Actors, both stated that the actors are reviewing the offer.
Everyone is Fighting Against Their Own Worthlessness will revolve around the world of film.
This will be the next work of director Cha Young Hoon, who is known for creating the K-dramas Welcome to Samdal-ri, Forecasting Love and Weather, and Uncontrollably Fond, and writer Park Hae Young (My Mister and Another Miss Oh).
The release date and broadcast channel for the upcoming K-drama have not yet been officially confirmed.
Go Youn Jung is currently starring in the tvN K-drama Resident Playbook with Shin Shi Ah, Kang Yoo Seok, Han Ye Ji, Jung Jun Won, and Lee Bong Ryun.
She will also lead the upcoming Netflix original K-drama Can This Love Be Translated? She will star alongside Kim Seon Ho, Fukushi Sota, Lee Yi Dam, and Choi Woo Sung.
Meanwhile, this will possibly be Koo Kyo Hwan's second upcoming K-drama project. The actor will also lead the new series Insiders alongside Song Kang Ho, Park Soo Ae, Lee Sung Min, Cho Seung Woo, and Shin Seung Ho.
Koo Kyo Hwan also has a long list of upcoming films, including Finding the King, Colony, New Generation War: Reawakened Man, Snowfall, and Once We Were Us.
