Koo Kyo Hwan faces off against Shin Seung Ho in 'Reawaken Man: The Red'

tvN's variety show for Goblin's (Guardian: The Lonely and Great God) 10th anniversary has unveiled its first teaser featuring Gong Yoo, Kim Go Eun, Lee Dong Wook, and Yoo In Na.
Set to premiere on July 4, Goblin 10th Anniversary Trip is a special program planned to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the broadcast of the drama Goblin. The drama's leading stars — including Gong Yoo, Lee Dong Wook, Kim Go Eun, and Yoo In Na — will travel to Gangneung for a nostalgic trip, where they will look back on the special meaning the drama left behind while sharing behind-the-scenes stories.
The first teaser captures the joyful reunion of the four stars, who gathered together again for the first time in 10 years. Against the backdrop of Gangneung Beach — which served as the backdrop for many iconic scenes in the drama — the cast is seen celebrating the drama's 10th anniversary. Gong Yoo remarks, "Let's have fun and enjoy today," while Kim Go Eun shares her excitement, saying, "I'm really coming back after 10 years."
Meanwhile, Lee Dong Wook reflects, "Has it already been 10 years since Goblin?" and Yoo In Na reflects emotionally, saying, "It's amazing how everything still looks exactly the same."
The teaser also shows the drama's main cast visiting the Jumunjin breakwater in Gangneung. The location is especially symbolic as the place where Ji Eun Tak (Kim Go Eun) first summoned the goblin Kim Shin (Gong Yoo) in the drama. After serving as the backdrop for one of the series' most memorable scenes, it became a famous spot for fans hoping to recreate iconic photos.
The teaser further heightened nostalgia with the drama's signature OST, along with the red scarf and buckwheat flowers featured in the series.
First broadcast in 2016, Guardian: The Lonely and Great God tells the story of an immortal goblin who needs a human bride to end his eternal life, and a grim reaper with no memories who begins to live with him. The drama unfolds when a girl — fated to have died — appears before them, claiming to be the "Goblin's Bride". The series became a massive hit, bolstering the Hallyu wave.
The production team of Goblin 10th Anniversary Trip shared, "Even after 10 years, the drama Goblin is still remembered by many as an all-time favorite. Viewers will once again be able to feel the memories and nostalgia surrounding the drama.
It will fully capture the emotions, fun, and even the actors' chemistry from those days intact, so we hope many people will look forward to it."
The program premieres on July 4. Watch the teaser here.
