Im Ji Yeon returns as a passionate reporter in Nice to Not Meet You.

Nice to Not Meet You follows Im Hyeon Jun (Lee Jung Jae), a famous actor who wishes to break free from his typecast detective roles, and Wi Jeong Sin (Im Ji Yeon), a political journalist demoted to the entertainment desk while covering a corruption case.

The stills highlight contrasting moments of Wi Jeong Sin (Im Ji Yeon), who transitions from being an ace in the political desk to a rookie in the entertainment section. She is a woman who will stop at nothing for an exclusive scoop. Her relentless drive even earned her the title of the youngest-ever recipient of a prestigious press award. The bright smile and confident gaze she wears while holding her trophy reveal the pride she takes in her career.

However, Wi Jeong Sin faces a downfall after she becomes entangled in a major corruption scandal and is unfairly forced out of her position. She is then assigned to cover the scene of a celebrity's arrival and departure at the airport. Gone is her composed, sharp demeanor — her bewildered expression hints at the tough survival journey awaiting her in the entertainment department.

Im Ji Yeon shared her thoughts on choosing the project, saying, "After working on heavy and serious dramas lately, I was looking for something fresh. That's when I came across Nice to Not Meet YouI thought, 'If not now, when will I ever get the chance to play a character going through such a chaotic growth?' and I felt confident that I could do it well."

She added, "The drama's charm lies in how it tells the growth stories of people who, despite their bright appearances, carry hidden wounds and frustrations. I believe many viewers will be able to relate to that."

Describing Wi Jeong Sin, Im Ji Yeon added, "She's someone who charges forward without hesitation to achieve her goals and uphold her beliefs." She continued, "That trait of hers leads her to clash with society and get worn down, and through that, she grows both as a reporter and as a person. I focused on portraying her process of transformation."

Nice to Not Meet You is coming on November 3. The K-drama will be streaming on Prime Video.
