Director Yoo discusses the making of 'The WONDERfools'
The script-reading stills from MBC's upcoming drama Perfect Crown have finally been unveiled.
Perfect Crown follows Seong Hee Joo (IU), a chaebol heiress who has everything except a royal status, and Prince Yi An (Byeon Woo Seok), the king's son who, despite being a royal, cannot have anything, as they set out on a journey to carve their destinies, defying the social statuses that confine them.
Joining IU and Byeon Woo Seok are Steve Noh, Gong Seung Yeon, Yoo Soo Bin, and Lee Yeon, among others.
IU commented, "I'll work hard so that Perfect Crown dominates the drama land in 2026." Byeon Woo Seok shared, "I'll strive to do my best so we can shake up the world in 2026."
Steve Noh added, "We'll make it so that we shake up the universe," and Gong Seung Yeon said, "I'll work hard to make it a fun set."
IU plays Seong Hee Joo, a chaebol heiress who has everything except the status of a noble. She approaches Prince Yi An with the goal of rising in status and proposes marriage.
Byeon Woo Seok plays Prince Yi An, a man who has nothing but his status. The prince, usually composed and unmoved in any circumstances, meets Seong Hee Joo and experiences a new shift in life.
Steve Noh comes as Min Jeong Woo, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Korea. At the script-reading, he showcased a friendly synergy with IU (who comes as Seong Hee Joo), and with Byeon Woo Seok (as Prince Yi An), he came across as a reliable best friend.
Gong Seung Yeon transforms into Yoon Yi Rang, a woman born with the destiny of a queen.
