Fan Cheng Cheng's studio plans legal action against underage sasaeng fans
IU, Byeon Woo Seok, Steve Noh, and Gong Seung Yeon each shine with determination as they pursue their goals in Perfect Crown.
Set against the backdrop of the constitutional monarchy of Korea, Perfect Crown follows Seong Hee Joo (IU), a chaebol heiress who has everything except a royal status, and Prince Yi An (Byeon Woo Seok), the king's son who, despite being a royal, cannot have anything, as they set out on a journey to carve their destinies, defying the social statuses that confine them.
The production team has released character posters.
The character posters showcase Seong Hee Joo (played by IU), Prince Yi An (Byeon Woo Seok), Min Jung Woo (Steve Noh), and Yoon Yi Rang (Gong Seung Yeon), exuding the charisma of powerful figures in the Korean monarchy.
Despite being a commoner and of illegitimate birth, Seong Hee Joo — the CEO of Castle Beauty — confidently steps into the palace as a Prince's wife. She declares, "Even if I have to play dirty, I will win," revealing her fierce competitive drive.

Prince Yi An, the second son of the royal family who can never become king, creates a chilling tension with the line, "Do you think there's a season for hunting?" Living within the strict order of the palace — where he must neither shine nor raise his voice — he has suppressed his fiery nature.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Min Jung Woo remarks, "Let it be; it will probably be an incident anyway." As a longtime friend of Prince Ian, Min Jung Woo has maintained the balance between the royal family and the cabinet, but he is set to face a wave of emotions triggered by the marriage of Seong Hee Joo and the Prince.

Lastly, Queen Dowager Yoon Yi Rang, an elder figure of the royal family, delivers a message, saying, "Is there even room for happiness in a royal marriage?" It raises curiosity about how Yoon Yi Rang — who has always placed the authority and dignity of the royal family above all else — will react to Prince Yi An's decision to marry a commoner.

As such, Perfect Crow presents the diverse outlooks on life of Seong Hee Joo, Prince Yi An, Min Jung Woo, and Yoon Yi Rang, all in the royal family, through the character posters. As the inevitable clashes between these four, each either challenging the fate given to them or striving to protect it, are expected, anticipation for their story grows even stronger.
Perfect Crown is coming April 10. The K-drama will be streaming on Disney+.
