Kim Sae Ron's posthumous film 'Everyday, We' confirmed to premiere in 2026
Ji Chang Wook and Imada Mio are set to lead the upcoming Disney+ original series Merry Berry Love.
On November 13, CJ ENM announced that they are set to produce the upcoming series Merry Berry Love in partnership with Nippon TV from Japan. This will premiere exclusively on Disney+ and Nippon TV, and it will be a Korean-Japanese co-production drama.
Merry Berry Love will showcase the romance between a Korean space planner and a Japanese farmer. The two will meet on a remote island in Japan.
The upcoming series will be the next work of director Kim Soo Jung (Semantic Error) and writer Lee Jae Yoon (The Divorce Insurance).
Ji Chang Wook will portray the role of Lee Yoo Bin, a space planner who failed in his career and decided to move and start a new life on a remote island. Imado Mio, on the other hand, will portray the role of Shirahama Karin, who currently works as a strawberry farmer on a remote island.
The chief producer of CJ ENM, Lee Sang Hwa, shared, "We've joined forces with Nippon TV and Disney+ for a new worldwide project. We aim to deliver excitement and fun across countries and languages, so please look forward to it."
There is no official details yet on the premiere date of Merry Berry Love. 
This will be the third upcoming series of Ji Chang Wook. He will also lead the upcoming K-dramas Human X Gumiho and Scandal. Ji Chang Wook is currently starring in the Disney+ K-drama The Manipulated with EXO's Doh Kyung Soo, Kim Jong Soo, Jo Yoon Soo, Lee Kwang Soo, and Yang Dong Geun.
Meanwhile, this will be the first upcoming series project of Imada Mio. In 2025, she led the Japanese series Anpan with Kitamura Takumi, Kase Ryo, Eguchi Noriko, Kawai Yuumi, and Hara Nanoka.
Before the year ends, she will also star in the upcoming Japanese film The Last Man the Movie: First Love with Fukuyama Masaharu, Oizumi Yo, Nagase Ren, Matsuo Satoru, and Oku Tomoya.
