Netflix drama Boyfriend on Demand has confirmed its release date for March 6.

Boyfriend on Demand follows Mi Rae (Ji Soo), a webtoon producer worn out by reality, as she subscribes to a virtual dating simulation program.

The poster shows Mi Rae deep in thought, weighed down by concerns, with a checklist beside her that diagnoses her current state.

The teaser shows a new world opening up for Mi Rae after she subscribes to Boyfriend on Demand. She finds herself stepping into a scene from a webtoon; from a springtime campus with cherry blossoms fluttering down to a sunny beach, the life she wants to log out of disappears, and a dreamy fantasy unfolds right before her eyes.

Ji Soo described Boyfriend on Demand as "a bubbly rom-com about Mi Rae — who wants love and excitement but struggles after bumping into real-life problems — gradually growing, that also offers lots to see, making it fun to watch."

She added, "It's a project that aims to satisfy viewers' excitement vicariously. I think it's a rom-com that can gift an enjoyable time to those who are worn out by their repetitive life."

Seo In Guk, who plays Gyeong Nam, described the drama as "a work with a distinctive uniqueness in its premise," saying, "It's incredibly appealing because it shows romance in virtual reality and romance in the real world at the same time. The key points to watch are the setting and story that move back and forth between the real world and the virtual world."

Boyfriend on Demand is coming March 6, only on Netflix.
