Kim Sae Ron's posthumous film 'Everyday, We' confirmed to premiere in 2026
Jun Ji Hyun and Ji Chang Wook will possibly work together for the second time through the K-drama Human X Gumiho.
On October 21, media outlets reported that Jun Ji Hyun and Ji Chang Wook are in positive talks to lead the upcoming K-drama Human X Gumiho. The series will premiere on JTBC, and it will also premiere globally through the streaming platforms Coupang Play and Amazon Prime.
In response to the casting reports, both Jun Ji Hyun and Ji Chang Wook's agencies shared their sides. Jun Ji Hyun's agency, PEACHY, stated, "Human X Gumiho is one of the projects that Jun Ji Hyun is positively reviewing." Similarly, Ji Chang Wook's agency, Spring Company, confirmed, "Ji Chang Wook did receive the offer and is currently reviewing it."
Human X Gumiho will be the latest work of writer Im Me Ah Ri. She is known for being the assistant of renowned writer Kim Eun Sook (The Glory, Goblin, and Descendants of the Sun). She gained popularity after she worked on the K-dramas Doom at Your Service and The Beauty Inside.
According to reports, the upcoming K-drama will begin production in March 2026. The release date is still undecided, and the series will have a total of 14 episodes.

If Jun Ji Hyun and Ji Chang Wook confirm their castings, this will be the second time that the two will work together. Jun Ji Hyun and Ji Chang Wook will also work together in the upcoming film Colony. They will also work alongside Koo Kyo Hwan, Kim Shin Rok, Shin Hyun Been, and Go Soo.
This year, Jun Ji Hyun returned to K-dramas with the hit Disney+ series Tempest. She worked alongside Kang Dong Won, Kim Hae Sook, Lee Mi Sook, Yoo Jae Myung, and Park Hae Joon.
Meanwhile, Ji Chang Wook is also set to greet viewers with the upcoming Disney+ K-drama The Manipulated with EXO's Doh Kyung Soo, Lee Kwang Soo, Jo Yoon Soo, Yang Dong Geun, and Jung Heon.
