Jung Kyung Ho and Choi Soo Young announce breakup

Jung Kyung Ho and Choi Soo Young have ended their relationship after 14 years of publicly dating.

According to MyDaily's report on June 9, Jung Kyung Ho and Choi Soo Young recently grew apart due to increasingly busy schedules and naturally decided to go their separate ways.

Choi Soo Young's agency SARAM Entertainment stated, "It is true that they have broken up. They have decided to remain good colleagues."

Jung Kyung Ho's agency Management Allum also confirmed, "It is true that they have broken up. As it is a private matter, it is difficult to provide further details."

Jung Kyung Ho and Choi Soo Young had long been regarded as one of the entertainment industry's strongest couples. The two are alumni of the Department of Theater and Film at Chung-Ang University and first met at church. The couple, who started dating in 2012, went public with their relationship in January 2014.

Jung Kyung Ho is one of the most versatile actors of his generation, famous for his roles in dramas such as Hospital Playlist, Crash Course in Romance, and Oh My Ghost Clients. He is currently filming the ENA romantic comedy Tempting Romance.

Choi Soo Young, who debuted in 2007 as a member of Girls' Generation, has also pursued an acting career. She has starred in dramas including Run On, If You Wish Upon Me, and Idol I. She is preparing to film the new KBS2 weekend drama I Went to School, which is scheduled to air next year.
