Yoo Hai Jin, Park Hae Il, and Lee Min Ho unravel the truth behind a shooting in 'Assassin(s)'
Jung Kyung Ho, Jeon Yeo Been, Choi Dae Hoon, and Kang Mal Geum have been confirmed to star in the new drama Tempting Romance (literal title).
Tempting Romance tells the story of a star anchor suffering from early andropause and a writer who used to be his arch-enemy. As they try to save a TV program languishing at the bottom of the ratings chart, they end up reviving feelings they thought had long faded away.
Jung Kyung Ho will play Na Yi Joon, the star anchor of YCB's newsroom. Na Yi Joon is a man who had been riding high after setting the record of becoming YCB's youngest-ever anchor, but he faces the biggest crisis of his life after developing symptoms of early andropause. He is even notified that he will be removed from the main news program and later ends up taking charge of a show with the lowest ratings, where he meets Seo Hae Yoon, the writer who seems to have little regard for sophistication.
Jeon Yeo Been will play Seo Hae Yoon, a writer who chases sensational news stories and ratings. Having moved from one broadcasting station's news division to another for over a decade, Seo Hae Yoon has been through all kinds of hardships and experiences.
She is a writer who has no qualms about covering gossip as long as it brings high ratings. Her already chaotic daily life — which is due to the program she oversees being on the verge of cancellation — becomes even more turbulent with Na Yi Joon's sudden arrival.
In addition, Choi Dae Hoon and Kang Mal Geum will appear as divorcees.
Choi Dae Hoon will play Ji Han Soo, a YCB reporter who wanted to become an anchor like his close friend Na Yi Joon, but didn't succeed due to a critical pronunciation problem. Although he carries the emotional scars of feeling abandoned in his first marriage — in which he had been deeply devoted — he remains a romantic at heart who still dreams of love.
Kang Mal Geum will play Heo Mi Eun, a broadcast writer and an older-sister figure to Seo Hae Yoon. She values loyalty in a man more than good looks.
Tempting Romance is scheduled to air in the first half of 2027. Stay tuned!
