Girls Generation's Choi Soo Young is making her debut in Hollywood!
Actor Jung Kyung Ho is returning as Dr. Kim Jun Wan this week.
It was officially confirmed on April 15 that Jung Kyung Ho, who played Dr. Kim Jun Wan in Hospital Playlist, will be the next actor from the series to make a cameo appearance on Resident Playbook, following Ahn Eun Jin.
Resident Playbook is a spin-off of the popular K-drama Hospital Playlist. The K-drama reveals the real-life stories, friendships, and struggles of obstetrics and gynecology residents at Jongno Yulje Hospital.
Go Youn Jung, Shin Shi Ah, Kang Yoo Seok, Jung Joon Won, Han Ye Ji, and Lee Bong Ryun are the main leads of the series.
This K-drama is the joint work of director Lee Min Soo (The Secret House and Good For You) and writer Kim Song Hee. The original team of Hospital Playlist director Shin Won Ho and writer Lee Woo Jung are also working with them in the production of the K-drama as creators.
Creator Shin Won Ho revealed that nearly every episode of 'Resident Playbook' will feature cameo appearances, some for pure entertainment and others as important plot connections.
The premiere episode of Resident Playbook aired on April 12, marking a strong start for the K-drama in terms of ratings. It also achieved international recognition by entering the top 10 on Netflix worldwide, and it also took the No. 1 spot in Korea.
The third and fourth episodes of Resident Playbook will premiere on the weekends at 9:20 PM KST.
After Resident Playbook, Jung Kyung Ho will become an attorney and judge on his upcoming K-dramas Oh My Ghost Clients and Pro Bono.
He will also return to the big screen with the upcoming films Galatea and Boss.
