Tastefully Yours unveils stills from the script reading session.
Tastefully Yours follows Han Beom Woo (Kang Ha Neul), a conglomerate heir who aims to inherit Korea's top food corporation, and Mo Yeon Joo (Go Min Si), a stubborn chef running a one-table restaurant without a signboard in Jeonju.
The script reading was attended by Kang Ha Neul, Go Min Si, Kim Shin Rok, and Yoo Soo Bin, along with creator Han Jun Hee, director Park Dhan Hee, and writer Jung Soo Yoon.
As the reading began, the actors fully immersed themselves in their roles, syncing naturally with one another. Kang Ha Neul plays Han Beom Woo, the prospective heir to a leading Korean food company and a second-generation chaebol obsessed with achieving three-star status from Diamant Guide, bringing the character's sly and self-centered nature to life.
Go Min Si, playing the role of passionate chef Mo Yeon Joo, who prioritizes taste and quality above all else, portrayed a lovely yet energetic and spirited chef with flair.
Kim Shin Rok, playing Jin Myung Sook — an ace with 15 years of experience at a gukbap (soup with rice) restaurant — filled the character with layered charm, capturing the shy and innocent side hidden beneath her tough exterior.
Yoo Soo Bin plays Shin Chun Seung, the reckless yet warmhearted successor to the gukbap restaurant. Though clumsy and chaotic, Shin Chun Seung is impossible to dislike.
The production team also released stills from the K-drama, offering a glimpse of the actors fully immersed in their on-screen characters.
Han Beom Woo is seen dressed sharply in a suit, befitting his image as a chaebol heir. Shown brooding over a document, the still hints at his analytical nature as a businessman, willing to do anything to inherit his family's food company.
Mo Yeon Juoo, dressed in plain clothes, is seen standing in the middle of a local market carrying two bags, seemingly of ingredients for her recipes. Her watchful gaze piques curiosity about what has caught her attention in the middle of shopping.
Tastefully Yours will premiere on May 12. News about the K-drama's global OTT is yet to come.
