The broadcast schedule for Human from Today, starring Kim Hye Yoon and Lomon, has reportedly been postponed.
On April 10, SBS reported to Top Star News, "The show is scheduled to air in 2026," and not in 2025 as initially planned. However, the specific broadcast date has not yet been decided.
Human from Today follows a gumiho who avoids becoming human and a narcissistic soccer star who crosses paths with her.
Director Kim Jung Kwon takes the helm, while writers Jo Ah Young and Park Chan Young bring their witty storytelling to the project. The K-drama is highly anticipated as the next project chosen by Lovely Runner fame Kim Hye Yoon.
Kim Hye Yoon takes on the role of Eun Ho, an eccentric gumiho who has absolutely zero intention of becoming an ordinary human. As an MZ gumiho with a wealth of hobbies, she delights in only the most fun aspects of the human world while relishing her unchanging youth. Cautious not to become human even by chance, she avoids doing even the smallest good deeds and instead accumulates small mischiefs. Life would have gone as usual for her had it not been for an unexpected incident that threatened to overturn her gumiho life.
Lomon transforms into Kang Si Yeol, a celebrated soccer player full of pride. As the star striker for a famous overseas club, he has swept up every "first" title imaginable throughout his career — a soccer icon who shines brighter than the team. Living a perfect life with nothing more to wish for, the only thing Kang Si Yeol fears is losing muscle mass.
Human from Today has recently completed filming and is reportedly set to air in 2026.
