Horror K-movie Salmokji: Whispering Water has surpassed 1 million moviegoers on April 17, its 10th day since release.

According to the Korean Film Council, Salmokji: Whispering Water exceeded the 1-million-moviegoer mark as of the morning of April 17.
Since its release, Salmokji: Whispering Water has maintained the No. 1 spot at the Korean box office for nine consecutive days, sustaining a steady run of success. On April 15, the cast had a stage greeting with a ghost makeup concept to celebrate surpassing its break-even point, and since then, audience reviews have led to additional viewing demand.

Salmokji: Whispering Water is a horror film that unfolds when an unidentified figure appears on the Salmokji road-view footage, prompting a crew to return to the reservoir for a reshoot, only to come face-to-face with something lurking in the dark, deep water. The K-movie stars Kim Hye Yoon, Lee Jong Won, Kim Jun Han, Oh Dong Min, and Kim Young Sung, among others.
