Kang Mi Na in talks to join Byeon Woo Seok in 'Solo Leveling'
A special teaser for Doctor X: Age of the White Mafia has been unveiled.
Set to air in October 2026, Doctor X: Age of the White Mafia is a medical drama that tells the story of Kye Su Jeong (Kim Ji Won), a genius surgeon who proves what it truly means to be a doctor solely through skill, as she "operates on" a medical system steeped in absurdities.
The K-drama is led by Kim Ji Won, Lee Jung Eun, Son Hyun Joo, and Kim Woo Seok.
The special teaser introduces Doctor X, Kye Su Jeong, a genius surgeon who comes to Guseo University Hospital, a medical institution reeking of corruption and malpractice. As if rebelling against the symbol of doctors — the white coat — she makes her entrance clad in a pitch-black leather coat, and saying, "Objection," she throws the rigid hierarchy of the university hospital into turmoil.
Kim Ji Won plays Kye Su Jeong, a genius surgeon infamously dubbed the "mad dog of the operating room." Lee Jung Eun portrays Jang Hee Suk, the head of the doctor-for-hire agency, which dispatched Kye Su Jeong, and a woman obsessed with money.
Son Hyun Joo takes on the role of Bu Seung Gwon, the director of a branch hospital of Guseo University Hospital, and Kim Woo Seok stars as Park Tae Gyeong, a silver-spoon intern at Guseo University Hospital.
Kye Su Jeong makes her appearance with Jang Hui Suk's narration: "This is the story of a lone wolf. In this age of the white mafia, where even medical practice — dealing with human lives — operates according to the logic of money and power, there appears a being: the surgeon Kye Su Jeong, aka Doctor X."
