Actress Kim Min Ha will not only show a new side of herself in the upcoming K-drama Typhoon Family, but she will also lend her voice as the first singer of the K-drama's soundtrack.

On October 10, the production team of Typhoon Family shared, "The first OST for Typhoon Family, titled 'Eternal' and sung by Kim Min Ha, will be released on October 12 at 6 PM KST across various music platforms."

Typhoon Family is set during the 1997 IMF crisis. It will showcase the struggles of Typhoon Company and its employees. The K-drama will reveal the struggles and growth of Kang Tae Poong, the CEO of Typhoon Company. 

The upcoming K-drama will be the next work of director Lee Na Jung, who also created the K-dramas Fight for My Way, See You in My 19th Life, Mine, Love Alarm, Oh My Venus, and The Innocent Man. The script will be written by rookie writer Jang Hyun. 

Aside from Kim Mi Ha, the K-drama will be led by Lee Jun Ho, Sung Dong Il, Kim Ji Young, and Kim Min Seok

Actress Kim Min Ha, who previously revealed her singing voice on The Seasons Season 6: Lee Young Ji's Rainbow earlier this year, is now officially making her OST debut. Her participation as the K-drama's first OST artist is expected to help launch Typhoon Family with a strong start. 

Typhoon Family will premiere on October 11 at 9:10 PM KST.

Early this year, Kim Min Ha starred in the K-drama Way Back Love with Gong Myung, Jung Gun Joo, Oh Woo Ri, Ko Chang Seok, and Seo Young Hee. She will also be part of the upcoming film Day and Night to Each Other that will be released this year. 

After Typhoon Family, Kim Min Ha's next K-drama project will be Perfect Job, which will premiere next year. She will star alongside Lee Jae Wook, Go Min Si, and Lee Hee Joon
