Koo Kyo Hwan, Go Youn Jung find sanctuary in each other in 'We Are All Trying Here'

We Are All Trying Here has unveiled second teaser.

We Are All Trying Here follows the journey of Hwang Dong Man (Koo Kyo Hwan), who, being the only one whose life is not going well among a group of accomplished friends, is driven to anguish and madness by envy and jealousy. 

The K-drama stars Koo Kyo Hwan, Go Youn Jung, Oh Jung Se, Kang Mal Geum, and Park Hae Joon, among others.

The teaser gives a glimpse of the characters Hwang Dong Man (Koo Kyo Hwan), who has been preparing for his film director debut for 20 years, and Byeon Eun Ah (Go Youn Jung), a producer at the film company Choi Film.

It begins with Hwang Dong Man shouting his own name from atop a hill. While those around him dismiss his bizarre behavior as an exhausting nuisance that's hard to tolerate, there is someone who pinpoints an entirely different essence — Byeon Eun Ah.

Byeon Eun Ah remarks, "He seems like someone with a thousand doors all open," seeing through the transparency of Hwang Dong Man, who doesn't hide his true self. Hwang Dong Man becomes infinitely at ease in front of those he likes, and Byeon Eun Ah is the one who recognizes his true worth. Their meeting — removed from the world's noisy standards — creates a kind of "noise-free zone".

Having been isolated by the world's standards, the two become each other's only "safe zone", forming a relationship in which they will serve as emotional guideposts for one another, helping each other out of the swamp of worthlessness. In this way, having gained the driving force of reassurance, the two — though they cry in agony — brush off that weight lightly and run down the streets together. 

The production team stated, "Please pay attention to the process in which two people, who had always been halted in anxiety, finally turn on the 'green light' of reassurance after meeting each other," adding, "You can look forward to the harmless synergy of these two, who will become each other's only sanctuary."

We Are All Trying Here is set to premiere on April 18. The K-drama is reported to stream on Netflix.
