Lee Da Hee returns with her signature charisma in The Divorce Insurance.
The Divorce Insurance follows an insurance company's product development team as they introduce a divorce insurance product designed to address one of the biggest modern-day crises — divorce. The K-drama offers a relatable and heartfelt story of adults striving to live 'their own way' while navigating life's challenges.
Anticipation is high as this project marks the collaboration of director Lee Won Suk and writer Lee Jae Yoon (Secret Royal Inspector & Joy).
Lee Da Hee transforms into Jeon Na Rae, a financial mathematician who views the world purely through the lens of investment. Unwavering in her choices and brimming with confidence, Jeon Na Rae joins the Divorce Insurance TF team as a special advisory quant — only to find herself gradually beginning to change.
In the newly released stills, Jeon Na Rae can be seen dressed flawlessly from head to toe. Her sharp gaze, as if analyzing every data point, hints at her ability to quantify divorce and craft the perfect divorce insurance product.
The next still captures Jeon Na Rae with a noticeably different expression as she gazes at someone. Known for her decisiveness and fast-paced nature, she begins to experience unexpected changes after joining the Divorce Insurance TF team. Curiosity grows about how Jeon Na Rae's relationships with her TF team members will unfold and what changes she will experience along the way.
Lee Da Hee shared her reason for choosing the project, saying, "The concept of divorce insurance felt unique and refreshing. As I read the script, I felt that each episode and character narrative would resonate with many people." She added, "I hope viewers will focus on the journey of self-discovery and how new relationships are formed along the way."
Regarding her character Jeon Na Rae, Lee Da Hee commented, "I think Na Rae's charm lies in her confidence. She is a character who stands firm in every choice and decision she makes." She added, "I focused on what truly felt 'Na Rae-like' and stayed true to her essence while acting."
The Divorce Insurance is coming on March 31. The K-drama will be available to stream on Prime Video.
