Kim Sae Ron's posthumous film 'Everyday, We' confirmed to premiere in 2026
Lee Do Hyun and Shin Shi Ah are confirmed to lead the upcoming fantasy romance K-drama Grand Galaxy Hotel.
On June 26, it was officially confirmed that Lee Do Hyun and Shin Shi Ah are the next main leads of the Hong Sisters' new project. Lee Do Hyun confirmed his casting for Grand Galaxy Hotel through his agency.
YUEHUA Entertainment Korea shared, "We are grateful for all the outpouring offers for Lee Do Hyun. After thorough discussions, our actor has decided to go with the K-drama project, Grand Galaxy Hotel. We appreciate your patience and look forward to your continued support."
This will be the second time that Lee Do Hyun and the Hong Sisters will work together. Lee Do Hyun previously starred in the 2019 hit series Hotel del Luna.
On the same day, reports stated that Shin Shi Ah will be the female lead opposite Lee Do Hyun for the new K-drama. Shin Shi Ah's agency, Management SOOP, then officially confirmed that the actress is joining the cast lineup of Grand Galaxy Hotel.
Go Min Si was initially reported as Lee Do Hyun's female lead earlier this year, but her casting didn't work out, and the role went to Shin Shi Ah instead.
Grand Galaxy Hotel will be the 2026 project of the Hong Sisters. Hong Sisters is composed of Hong Jung Eun and Hong Mi Ran. These renowned writers are known for creating the scripts for Alchemy of Souls, A Korean Odyssey, The Master's Sun, My Girlfriend Is a Gumiho, and more. Before they work with Lee Do Hyun and Shin Shi Ah, the writers will present the 2025 K-drama Can This Love Be Translated? first.
According to reports, Grand Galaxy Hotel will begin filming in the second half of 2025. It will reportedly air on the streaming platform, Netflix.
