The Nice Guy drops teaser, featuring Lee Dong Wook and Lee Sung Kyung.

The Nice Guy tells the story of Park Seok Cheol (Lee Dong Wook), the eldest grandson of a third-generation gangster family who strives to protect his loved ones.  

Lee Sung Kyung plays Kang Mi Yeong, an aspiring singer, and the K-drama centers around them sacrificing everything for their loved ones, and their journey to find their dreams amidst harsh reality.

Meeting Kang Mi Yeong again brings light back into the cold and desolate life of gangster Park Seok Cheol. Though the two briefly bask in the joy of reunion, they are soon faced with harsh realities.

Kang Mi Yeong asking, "Why didn't you tell me anything?" is layered over hints of a hidden past that divided their fates, piques intrigue. Unlike Kang Mi Yeong, who steps onto the stage with the spotlight on her, Park Seok Cheol wavers, burdened with scars.

The series is directed by Song Hae Sung, who also helmed A Better Tomorrowwith the scripts penned by Kim Woon Kyung. It also marks Hive Media Corp's, known for producing HarbinA Normal Family12.12: The DayThe Man Standing Next, first foray into K-dramas. 

The Nice Guy is coming July 18. The K-drama will be streaming on Disney+ and Hulu (select regions). Watch the teaser here
