
Lee Hee Joon is in talks to be one of the main leads of the upcoming Netflix original K-drama Honey Jar Project.
On April 22, media outlets reported that Lee Hee Joon is joining Lee Jae Wook in the upcoming horror fantasy K-drama Honey Jar Project.
The actor's agency hasn't responded to the casting reports.
Honey Jar Project will tell the story of the main lead, Byeon Hyeok Jun. In his 30s, Byeon Hyeok Jun takes on a high-value part-time job that leads him to encounter unexpected events.
Lee Hee Joon got the offer to portray the role of the employment agency CEO who will guide Byeon Hyeok Jun into the world of high-value part-time jobs. Lee Jae Wook got the offer to portray the role of Byeon Heok Jun.
The upcoming K-drama will be the joint work of directors Han Jun Hee (D.P., Coin Locker Girl, and Hit-and-Run Squad) and Kim Da Min (A Killer Paradox).
Honey Jar Project will be added to the long list of upcoming Netflix original K-dramas. It will have a total of 8 episodes.
If Lee Hee Joon confirms his casting, this will be his third upcoming K-drama.
The actor is also set to make a cameo appearance in the upcoming Disney+ original series Nine Puzzles. He is also part of the cast of the two-season K-drama When the Day Breaks, which will premiere on JTBC.
Lee Hee Joon recently starred in the hit Netflix original series Karma alongside Park Hae Soo, Shin Min Ah, Kim Sung Kyun, Lee Kwang Soo, and Gong Seung Yeon.
He will also appear in the upcoming film Day and Night to Each Other with Kim Min Ha, Joo Jong Hyuk, Han Sun Hwa, Chang Ryul, and Shim Eun Kyung.
