On April 4, various media outlets shared that Lee Jae Wook has been chosen to be the main lead of the upcoming K-drama titled Honey Jar Project.
Lee Jae Wook's agency Log Studio confirmed the casting of the actor. According to them, "Lee Jae Wook has decided to star in the new Netflix series Honey Jar Project."
Honey Jar Project is a horror fantasy K-drama focusing on the main lead, Byeon Hyeok Jun. Byeon Hyeok Jun, a man in his 30s, takes on a high-value part-time job that leads him to encounter a series of unexpected events.
The upcoming K-drama will be the next work of directors Han Jun Hee (D.P., Coin Locker Girl, and Hit-and-Run Squad) and Kim Da Min (A Killer Paradox).
Honey Jar Project will exclusively premiere on Netflix. It will have a total of 8 episodes.
Lee Jae Wook is currently starring in the tvN entertainment program Fresh off the Sea Season 2. He is working alongside Yeom Jung Ah, Park Joon Myun, and Im Ji Yeon.
Before Lee Jae Wook leads the upcoming K-drama Honey Jar Project, he will first appear in the upcoming series Last Summer (with Choi Sung Eun) and Dear Hongrang (with Jo Bo Ah, Jung Ga Ram, Uhm Ji Won, Park Byung Eun, and Kim Jae Wook).
