Girls Generation's Choi Soo Young is making her debut in Hollywood!
Lee Shin Young's next K-drama project will be The Moon Flows over the River.
On April 2, it was officially confirmed that Lee Shin Young is joining Kang Tae Oh and Kim Se Jeong in the upcoming K-drama The Moon Flows over the River.
This will be Lee Shin Young's first K-drama project of the year.
In 2024, Lee Shin Young also starred in a historical genre. He was part of the cast of the tvN series Captivating the King led by Jo Jung Suk, Shin Sae Kyeong, Park Ye Young, Jo Sung Ha, and Choi Dae Hoon.
Aside from the upcoming K-drama, Lee Shin Young will also return to the big screen with the upcoming films Sad Tropical with Kim Myung Min and Park Hae Soo.
He will also star in the upcoming film Run to You alongside Ha Seok Jin, TWICE's Kim Da Hyun, Yoon Seo Bin, and Lee Soon Won.
Lee Shin Young began his acting career in 2018. He is known for being part of the K-dramas Boss-dol Mart, Dr. Romantic Season 3, Rookie Cops, Bite Sisters, Crash Landing on You, and more.
The Moon Flows over the River will showcase the romantic journey of a crown prince who lost his will to be happy, swapped souls with an ordinary woman who lost her memory.
Director Lee Dong Hyeon, known for the works Bitter Sweet Hell, Doctor Lawyer, She Knows Everything, Less Than Evil, and more, will helm the upcoming series.
Kang Tae Oh will be Crown Prince Lee Kang in the series. He lost the will to be happy, consumed by his desire for revenge for the loss of his queen. While preparing for his revenge, he encounters Park Dal Yi, a woman who strikingly resembles his late queen.
Kim Se Jeong will play Park Dal Yi, an ordinary woman who looks like the late queen. She switches bodies with the crown prince due to an incident.
Lee Shin Young will play the role of Lee Woon. He was born as the enemy of the King. He will get caught up in a love affair.
The Moon Flows over the River will reportedly premiere in 2025 with 14 episodes. It will be shown exclusively on MBC.
