Yoon Jung Hoon joins 2PM's Ok Taec Yeon and Girls Generation's Seo Hyun in a new K-drama
Lee Sung Kyung and Chae Jong Hyeop are reportedly cast in the upcoming K-drama In Your Brilliant Season.
On May 29, industry insiders shared that Lee Sung Kyung and Chae Jong Hyeop will be the main leads of the upcoming thriller romance K-drama In Your Brilliant Season.
This K-drama was first offered to actress Han Hyo Joo in 2023. However, based on new casting reports, she appears to have ultimately declined the offer.
In Your Brilliant Season will tell the romance story of a man who loses his memory and hearing in an accident and a woman who becomes his salvation.
The upcoming K-drama will be the joint work of director Park Seon Ho (Business Proposal) and writer Jo Sung Hee (Thirty but Seventeen and She Was Pretty).
In Your Brilliant Season will reportedly begin filming as soon as the casting is complete. According to reports, the K-drama will air on MBC.
Lee Sung Kyung will reportedly portray the role of Song Ha Ran, of a talented fashion designer who has a great fear of losing the people she loves.
If Lee Sung Kyung confirms her casting, this will be her second upcoming K-drama. She will also lead the upcoming action romance K-drama The Good Man with Lee Dong Wook, Ryu Hye Young, Oh Na Ra, Park Hoon, and Yoo Jae Myung
Chae Jong Hyeop, on the other hand, got the offer to play the role of Sun Woo Chan, an animator who works for an American animation studio. He lost his memory and hearing after an accident.
Meanwhile, this K-drama will possibly be Chae Jong Hyeop's follow-up project after the series Serendipity's Embrace and Eye Love You, which led him to Hallyu stardom, especially in Japan.
The actor is also set to star in the upcoming entertainment program Chef of Antarctica with Baek Jong Won, Im Soo Hyang, and EXO's Suho.
