The upcoming second season of Moving will reportedly change its director.
According to media outlets on April 16, director Park In Je, who helmed the first season of Moving, will not return for the second season and will be replaced by director Kim Sung Hoon. One of them will continue to work with writer Kang Full. Reports also state that pre-production for Moving Season 2 will begin next month, with filming commencing in March 2026.
Disney+ later addressed the circulating reports with a denial, stating that no confirmation has been made regarding a change of director for the popular K-drama.

Meanwhile, if director Kim Sung Hoon officially takes over Moving Season 2, this will be his comeback project after three years. He last worked on the 2023 film Ransomed. He is known for creating the works Kingdom: Ashin of the North, Kingdom, and Tunnel.
Moving Season 2 will continue the narrative of children with secret abilities as they navigate their lives, shadowed by their parents' hidden and painful history.
The first season was led by Ryu Seung Ryong, Han Hyo Joo, Zo In Sung, Cha Tae Hyun, Ryu Seung Beom, Kim Sung Kyun, Lee Jung Ha, Go Youn Jung, Kim Do Hoon, and more. There is no confirmation yet on which actors will reprise their roles in the upcoming second season.
