Namkoong Min and wife Jin Ah Reum welcome a baby boy

Actor Namkoong Min and his wife Jin Ah Reum have become parents, welcoming their first son four years after their marriage. The child is reported to be a son. 

On July 27, Namkoong Min's agency, NKM Film, confirmed the news, stating, "As this concerns their private life beyond the birth itself, it is difficult for us to disclose any further details."

The couple's pregnancy was first reported on June 18, drawing warm congratulations and support from fans. At the time, Jin Ah Reum was said to be in the later stages of her pregnancy and focusing on prenatal care while taking good care of her health.

Namkoong Min and Jin Ah Reum confirmed their relationship in 2016 and tied the knot in October 2022 after seven years of publicly dating. The two first met in 2015 while working on the film Light My Fire, which Namkoong Min directed and Jin Ah Reum starred in.
