Actor Namkoong Min's next K-drama project will possibly be with KBS.
On May 13, media outlets reported that Namkoong Min is leading the upcoming romance thriller K-drama Completion of Marriage.
Namkoong Min's representative shared their response regarding the casting reports. According to them, "Namkoong Min received the offer and he is positively considering it."
Completion of Marriage will reveal the story of a man who struggles to face a criminal to save his wife. His wife was kidnapped before the process of their divorce.
Namkoong Min got the offer to portray the role of Kang Tae Joo. He was a former neurosurgeon but now works as the hospital director.
If Namkoong Min confirms his casting, this will be his grand comeback to KBS after almost 7 years. The actor last starred in the 2019 series Doctor Prisoner, which will also reportedly have a second season.
There are no reports yet on which actress will play the role of Kang Tae Joo's wife in the series.
Completion of Marriage will reportedly premiere on KBS.
Before Namkoong Min stars in Completion of Marriage, the actor will first greet viewers through the soon-to-premiere K-drama Our Movie. He will work alongside Jeon Yeo Been, Lee Seol, Seo Hyeon Woo, and Seo I Seo. The K-drama will begin airing in June, and it will exclusively air on SBS. This will be his comeback to the K-drama scene after two years.
Namkoong Min was last seen in the two part 2023 hit K-drama My Dearest with Ahn Eun Jin, Lee Hak Joo, Lee Da In, Kim Yoon Woo, and Park Kang Sub.
