tvN's upcoming weekend drama Our Unwritten Seoul has unveiled its main trailer, giving a glimpse of how the twin sisters Yoo Mi Ji and Yoo Mi Rae make a life-changing decision.
Our Unwritten Seoul is a coming-of-age story of twin sisters Yoo Mi Ji and Yoo Mi Rae (both played by Park Bo Young) who look the same but are opposite in every other way, switching identities in pursuit of the lives they want to live.
The teaser begins with the contrasting lives of the twin sisters Yoo Mi Ji and Yoo Mi Rae, who have always been together since the very first page of their lives. Yoo Mi Ji is shown living in the quiet countryside of Duseon-ri, doing all kinds of jobs in casual clothes, while Yoo Mi Rae is seen living as a professional office worker in the hustle and bustle of Seoul, wearing a suit and handling documents.
As a result, Yoo Mi Ji is constantly compared to her sister Yoo Mi Rae — who has always been the pride of their mother — but in reality, Yoo Mi Rae herself is in dire circumstances, pushed to the edge. On the outside, her life may appear full of hope, but the truth is quite different. Seeing this, Yoo Mi Ji proposes to swap lives to save her other half, saying, "I'll take your place." As she steps into a life completely opposite from her own and begins living Yoo Mi Rae's everyday, curiosity piques as to whether she can continue the deception without being discovered.
