Gong Myoung and Jin Sun Kyu tackle unprecedented challenges in 'Husbands in Action'
The Husband has unveiled stills featuring actor Park Byung Eun.
The Husband tells the story of Kang Tae Joo (Namkoong Min), who becomes locked in a life-or-death struggle against a criminal in order to save his wife, who is kidnapped just before their divorce.
Park Byung Eun plays Lee Soo Hyung, a former violent crimes detective who now runs a private investigation agency.
Park Byung Eun confessed that he spent a great deal of time contemplating the role, saying, "When I first received the offer for a special appearance, I worried about whether I would be able to convincingly portray the emotions and circumstances of the character Lee Soo Hyung."
He continued, "But as I kept reading, I became completely absorbed in the excellent script. I felt a strong desire to do justice to the character Lee Soo Hyung sincerely, and I think that's what ultimately led me to accept the role."
He also shared, "Since Soo Hyung is a character who moves between the past and the present, different makeup styles were used to distinguish his younger and present-day selves. Those external changes helped me a great deal in capturing Soo Hyung's emotions."
