Wavve's 'One: High School Heroes' tackles more than just school violence

Hunter with a Scalpel tells the story of a genius forensic doctor, Se Hyeon (Park Ju Hyun), who, while performing an autopsy, discovers evidence of his father's involvement in a murder and sets out to catch him, whom she thought was dead, before the police do.
Park Ju Hyun, playing the role of genius forensic doctor Seo Se Hyun, exudes mystery in the stills. In first stills, she appears bright and confident as a guest on a news show, embodying the poise of a veteran forensic doctor who has solved numerous cases with exceptional skill.
In stark contrast, another still of Seo Se Hyeon delivers a jarring shock. Her face is smeared with blood, and she wears a chilling smile. Her cold, emotionless gaze adds to the unsettling atmosphere, making it hard to believe she is the same renowned forensic doctor.
Park Yong Woo plays Yun Jo Gyun, Seo Se Hyun's father, and a psychopathic serial killer.
In one still, his warm, friendly smile gives an image of him being a kind, ordinary neighborhood dry cleaning shop owner. The sincerity in his expression makes it nearly impossible to suspect the terrifying truth hidden behind that friendly facade.
However, another still reveals his true nature. Though he still appears neatly dressed in a beige cardigan, his cold expression devoid of any warmth, and his chilling gaze stand in stark contrast to the kindness he shows his neighbors.
As such, Hunter with a Scalpel teases a thrilling narrative, piquing curiosity about the true nature of this father-daughter duo, who each hide unsettling truths.
Hunter with a Scalpel is coming June 16 on Disney+ in select regions.
