Red Velvet's Ye Ri to continue her acting career with Blitzway Entertainment!

Red Velvet's Ye Ri has officially signed an exclusive contract with Blitzway Entertainment.

On May 1, Blitzway Entertainment announced that Ye Ri is now part of their agency and that the Red Velvet member will be promoted under her real name, Kim Ye Rim. 

Following the expiration of her contract with SM Entertainment last month, it was reported that Ye Ri would be joining Blitzway Entertainment. This move has now been officially confirmed. Moving forward, Blitzway Entertainment will manage Ye Ri's individual activities, but she will remain a member of Red Velvet, with SM Entertainment continuing to manage the group.

Blitzway Entertainment's CEO shared insight on Ye Ri's signing, stating, "We're excited to embark on this journey with Ye Ri, who has built a strong presence both domestically and internationally. We will provide our full support to the expansion of her acting career."

Ye Ri will now be labelmates with actors Ju Ji Hoon, Jung Ryeo Won, Chun Woo Hee, Moon Chae Won, Woo Do Hwan, Kwak Dong Yeon, Yoon Park, and more.

Ye Ri started her career as the fifth member of Red Velvet. She belatedly joined the group in 2015. 

In 2021, she embarked on her acting career through the series Blue Birthday, wherein she worked alongside PENTAGON's Yang Hong Seok, Lee Sang Jun, Kim Yi Seo, Kim Gyeol Yu, and Park Joo Hyun.

Ye Ri earned praises for her performance in the hit 2023 series Bitch X Rich. She worked with Lee Eun Saem, Lee Jong Hyuk, Yoo Jung Hoo, Heo Hyun Seo, and Song Hyun Jin in the series. 

This year, she will return and reprise her role as Baek Je Na and will lead Bitch x Rich Season 2. 

Meanwhile, there's currently no news regarding Red Velvet's upcoming group comeback and future activities.
