'Resident Playbook' gets a promising start, 'Buried Hearts' concludes with an all-time high

The newly-released tvN medical K-drama Resident Playbook premiered scoring ratings of 3.68% (nationwide) and 4.36% (metropolitan), coming in first place among the shows airing in the same time slot. With strong premiere viewership, the series is expected to set records going forward.

Hospital Playlist spinoff, Resident Playbook, follows residents working at Yulje Hospital, who dream of becoming wise doctors.

The SBS thriller Buried Hearts concluded with a viewership of 15.4% (nationwide) and 15.7% (metropolitan), its highest of all time. The K-drama commenced with a nationwide rating of 6.1% and hit double digits at episode 4. From episode 6 onwards, it was on a streak of rising viewership. Buried Hearts was also popular among the Disney+ audience in Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, and Taiwan.
