Netflix action K-drama 'Teach You a Lesson' confirms premiere date

The latest episode of the tvN variety show Yoo Quiz on the Block featured actress Shin Hae Sun as a guest, where she shared how her mother supported her, thoughts on being an introvert, and much more.
At the show, Shin shared behind-the-scenes stories from the Netflix drama The Art of Sarah, mentioning the interrogation room scene. Recalling the experience, she admitted that she ended up physically drained and unwell after shooting the scene.

"I would only briefly run into Lee Jun Hyuk sunbae during commuting, and we both had a lot of concerns about the interrogation room scene," she said, adding, "He even suggested first, 'Shall we meet in a practice room and rehearse together?'"
"When the day of the interrogation room shoot came, Lee Jun Hyuk sunbae was the first to feel unwell," adding, "The moment I thought, 'He must have been under a lot of pressure,' I started feeling sick too. Neither of us was in good condition."
The actress also admits she is just as introverted as before. Three years ago, when she first appeared on the show, Shin confessed that she had no interest in travel, hobbies, or restaurants — none of them appealed to her.
When Yoo Jae Suk said, "I also related to that a lot at the time," and asked, "Has there been any change since then?", Shin replied, "There has been absolutely no change at all, and there hasn't been any change whatsoever in those three years." Yoo then acknowledged, "You're a true introvert."
Shin Hae Sun said, "Coming to Yoo Quiz again, there isn't really anything different between then and now, and I haven't really got any stories to talk about. Sometimes, it gets awkward because during interviews, reporters ask me to share interesting episodes. I feel very sorry, but when I say I don't have any, they look so disappointed. I really don't have any interesting stories to tell."
Yoo Jae Suk said, "You get [interesting] stories when you go out. That's a characteristic of introverts. There aren't big things happening in everyday life. In fact, then you start to worry — 'Should I go out and make plans?' Don't you feel the same way?" The actress replied, "Maybe once or twice every few years, while I do think about it but don't do it. Even the fact that such a passion arises [in a person] makes me think, 'This person has a lot of energy.' I feel envious."
"Work takes up such a huge portion of my life that there's no room for hobbies. Work alone already takes up all my energy, so if I pour energy into other hobbies, the energy I can use for work decreases. Instead, when my acting turns out well enough that I feel satisfied, I get energy from that."
She also added, "Sometimes, because my people worry about me, I try to act like I live energetically or as if I have high energy. I went on a family trip for the first time in a long while, but because they are people I'm comfortable being around the most, I found myself thinking, 'Did [we] really need to come all the way here?' and 'Couldn't [we] have just stayed at home?' They're like air to me, so it felt like I went on a trip with air."
"Just going out once takes a huge amount of energy, so when I do go, I try to enjoy and have fun no matter what. On the other hand, I'm also conscious of how people see me, so I want to come across as someone who's like, 'I know how to party. I just choose not to.' My ideal image is to look like a fun-loving extrovert," she said, laughing.

When Yoo Jae Suk said, "I'm also a very introverted person, so I'm not really interested in trends. Butter rice cakes and Dubai chewy cookies — honestly, I don't particularly want to eat them. But I did try them because I needed to share the experience," Shin Hae Sun responded in agreement, saying, "I know that feeling exactly. I do understand the appeal of trends. But I don't really understand lining up to get them."
Yoo Jae Suk remarked, "In your 13 years since debut, you've done over 30 projects," and called her "So Hae Sun" (a playful nickname implying she diligently works hard).
In response, the actress explained, "I heard people tell my agency CEO to let me rest a bit. But actually, it's my own choice, so my CEO feels a bit wronged." "Among my personality traits, one thing I think is okay is that I tend to accept many things quite calmly. It sounds a bit cringey, but I tell myself, 'You're strong.' I think I got that from my mother."
She then went on to talk about her mother, saying, "My mother is very extroverted and a really wonderful person. She doesn't pretend to be anything, and she's not pretentious either. If she makes a mistake, she coolly admits it. She has believed in me immensely since I was young. I didn't trust myself either, but my mother, with eyes full of conviction and through physical affection, gave me confidence by saying, 'I believe in my daughter.' That made me wonder, 'Maybe I have abilities I don't know about.' I think that's probably how I was able to become a bit stronger."
"When we think of a mother, we think of her as someone who gives unconditional love, right? My mother was that kind of mother. Even when I rebelled at home during puberty, she would always come to me around bedtime and massage me until I fell asleep. Thanks to that, even from a young age, whenever something [bad] happened, I wouldn't stay consumed by emotions and would get back up again quickly."
Recalling her days as an unknown actress, she said, "Even though I was unemployed, no one was looking for me [offering work], and I seemed insignificant, I had this irrational confidence of 'It's OK. I'm going to get busy and become famous later anyway.' I had that sense of fullness, so I was able to endure well." She added, "If I have a baby, I want to do for my child what my mother did for me."
Shin Hae Sun also expressed her wish for a long life and healthy old age. She said she wants to live until 120 years old because she wants to see robots and flying cars. But after a health checkup, she was told that she had very little muscle mass. "That's when the warning alarm went off for me. Speaking from experience to everyone watching this broadcast, you absolutely have to exercise. I lived thinking I wouldn't work out, but after the health checkup, I realized [how important it is]. Muscle mass affects your blood vessels and basically everything. The doctor told me that the most urgent concern was to build muscle."
"When I got a checkup three years ago, everything was fine. I lived thinking, I can live however I want and still be fine. But after living recklessly, things suddenly went downhill all at once." She urged viewers: "Everyone, please be careful. It can suddenly hit you all at once. You really have to exercise. I regret it so much."
When Yoo Jae Suk asked, "So are you working out these days?" Shin Hae Sun responded, "I actually did something pretty intense. I took up boxing and kept it up for a few years. But my back started hurting, so it's been two or three months now since I did it." Yoo Jae Suk sympathetically responded, "For an introvert, that alone [going out to do boxing for years] is basically an injury," evoking laughter.
