Disney+ unveils a teaser for Nine Puzzles.
Nine Puzzles is a mystery thriller that follows Yun Yi Na (Kim Da Mi), a criminal profiler who was the sole witness of an unsolved case from ten years ago, and violent crimes Detective Han Saem (Son Suk Ku), who was the lead investigator at the time and continues to suspect her as the culprit. Together, they delve into the secrets of a serial murder case that begins again with a mysterious puzzle piece.
The teaser begins with a scene of high school student Yi Na discovering a puzzle piece — the only clue left by the killer — at her uncle's murder scene ten years ago.
Fast forward ten years, Yi Na is now a criminal profiler, and she tries to track down the serial killer after a new murder has occurred, once again linked to the mysterious puzzle.
The Detective in charge of the case from ten years ago, Kim Han Saem, still finds it hard to believe Yi Na is not the culprit, as he says, "I still think Yun Yi Na is the prime suspect."
His belief is not without reason, as Yi Na's bizarre behavior, paired with her unreadable expression as she asks, "Are you saying I'm the culprit of this case?", heightens the intrigue surrounding her story.
In addition, the text "Forgotten memories, a mysterious puzzle, murders that have begun again" increases anticipation for the mysterious serial murder case, the answer to which lies in the nine puzzle pieces.
Nine Puzzles will be available exclusively on Disney+, with six episodes releasing on May 21, followed by three on May 28, and the final two on June 4, for a total of eleven episodes. Watch the teaser here.
