Kim Min Ha, Joo Jong Hyuk, Han Sun Hwa's 'The Table: Day and Night' confirms premiere
Kim So Hyun and Song Kang to possibly star in new K-drama White Scandal (literal title).
On February 24, Kim So Hyun's agency PEACHY stated, "Kim So Hyun has received an offer for White Scandal and is currently reviewing it."
Song Kang's agency Namoo Actors also stated, "Song Kang has received an offer to star in White Scandal, and he is reviewing it."
Based on the web novel of the same name, White Scandal tells the story of Ji Eun Seol, a former promising child actress who suddenly falls from grace after taking the blame for her brother's crime. Unable to give up on her dream of acting, she works as a road manager. Then she meets Dan Yi Hyuk, the man at the center of the past incident. The two enter into a contractual relationship, and Ji Eun Seol moves closer to a hidden secret.
Kim So Hyun has been offered the role of Ji Eun Seol, the female lead and former child actress. Song Kang is reportedly offered the role of Dan Yi Hyuk, South Korea's most celebrated superstar and NB Group's illegitimate child. He enters a contract relationship with Ji Eun Seol to remove himself from the succession race and honor his mother's last wish.
Reports say director Kim Chul Gyu (Flower of Evil, Siren’s Kiss) will be helming. Broadcasting details have not yet been decided, and the project is reported to currently be in the casting stage.
