Actress Go Sung Hee belatedly revealed to have given birth
Actor Sung Dong Il confirms his fourth upcoming K-drama project.
On February 19, a representative from tvN confirmed that Sung Dong Il will join the cast of the upcoming K-drama Typhoon Boss. He will work alongside 2 PM Lee Jun Ho, Kim Min Ha, and Kim Ji Young.
This will be Sung Dong Il's fourth confirmed upcoming K-drama. Before Typhoon Boss, Sung Dong Il will first be seen in the upcoming K-drama The Art of Negotiation which will premiere next month. He will work alongside Lee Je Hoon, Kim Dae Myung, Jang Hyun Sung, Oh Man Seok, and Ahn Hyun Ho.
Sung Dong Il will also join the cast of the upcoming series Twelve and Late Night Photo Studio.
Last January, Sung Dong Il appeared in the movie Forbidden Fairytale. He worked with Park Ji Hyun and Super Junior's Choi Si Won in the romantic comedy film. The renowned actor will also star in the upcoming films Pretty Crazy and Beast.
Typhoon Boss will showcase the struggles of Typhoon Company and their employees during the 1997 IMF crisis. The K-drama will focus on Kang Tae Poong, the CEO of Typhoon Company.
In the K-drama, Sung Dong Il plays Kang Jin Young, the father of Lee Jun Ho's character, Kang Tae Poong. Kang Jin Young is the founder of the successful Typhoon Company, which faces challenges due to the IMF crisis.
The upcoming K-drama will be the next work of director Lee Na Jung who is also known for being the brain behind the K-dramas Fight for My Way, See You in My 19th Life, Mine, Love Alarm, Oh My Venus, and The Innocent Man
Typhoon Boss will premiere in the second half of 2025. It will exclusively air on tvN and will have a total of 16 episodes.
