Tastefully Yours promises a finger-licking good experience.

On May 8, a press conference was held in Seoul for the upcoming Genie TV original series Tastefully Yours. Creator Han Joon Hee, director Park Dhan Hee, and cast Kang Ha NeulGo Min SiKim Shin Rok, and Yoo Soo Bin were in attendance.

Tastefully Yours follows Han Beom Woo (Kang Ha Neul), a conglomerate heir who aims to inherit Korea's top food company, and Mo Yeon Joo (Go Min Si), a stubborn chef running a one-table restaurant without a signboard in Jeonju.

In the K-drama, Kang Ha Neul takes on the role of Han Beom Woo, a second-generation chaebol aiming for a Diamant Guide three-star rating to become the heir of Hansang Group.

Go Min Si, who starred as an intern on the cooking variety show Jinny's Kitchen Season 2, plays chef Mo Yeon Joo. She stated, "Since I basically had to learn how to cook, I learned from the chefs stationed on set and practiced even before filming began," sparking curiosity about the culinary skills she'll display in the series.

"Was there any particular chef you referred to when portraying the character?" "When we began filming Tastefully YoursNetflix's Culinary Class Wars was enjoying great popularity. I was deeply impressed by how each chef poured effort and sincerity into every scene when cooking. I think that helped me portray my character with greater responsibility, said Go Min Si.

Kang Ha Neul, who plays the role of a second-generation chaebol, said of his character, "I've played a chaebol in several projects before, but it's been quite a while, and since I've never actually lived as one, it was a bit difficult."

He continued, "Rather than thinking how a chaebol would act, I approached it more from the angle of, 'How can I entertainingly convey the feeling the script gives?'"

Kang Ha Neul also jokingly said, "It's better to be looked down on, rather than being the one who looks down on others."

Creator Han Joon Hee, on the subject of ratings, said, "Of course, there's pressure. Sometimes things go well, and sometimes the response can be a bit disappointing, but this is our job, so I think we just have to take one step at a time and work steadily on each episode."

He added, "We poured our all into making it," and continued, "I'd be happy if you think of it as a 'late-night snack' [you take] before sleep."

Go Min Si expressed: "I really wanted to greet you with a warm story, and I hope that you'll show lots of love to this lovely drama, which I joyfully performed in on a set I love so much."

Tastefully Yours will premiere on May 12. The K-drama will be available on Netflix.
